TOPIC: Looking for RPG Fun at Gen Con as you make your wishlist?

Hello all. As Many of you know, I represent Gooey Cube, a small 3rd party D&D 5e publishing company that focuses on detailed immersive and gritty worldbuilding and adventure campaigns. We have found great success at many conventions in recent years running our slew of event offerings. Some short, some long, and some in-between, but ALL fun! Our community is dedicated and strong, it's collaborative, and infectious.

For Gen Con this year we have over 70 events on the schedule for all 4 days of the convention. If you are looking for a great RPG experience with an excellent GM and a fun, welcoming community, then look no further. You can find a list of all of our events here:

As you make your wish list I'd recommend you add one of these events if you are interested. Traditionally over the past 3 years, all of our events have sold out and the player feedback we get is overwhelmingly positive. At minimum, stop by our room in ICC 232 and see what we are all about. I'd love to say hello and chat a bit!

Can I bring my own Character to play? I am not a fan of PreGens. I have no connection to an unnamed and unplayed Character that I find myself not caring if they live or die. That means my roleplaying suffers.

Because this is a convention we find it much more efficient to operate our games with pregens. While I understand that many folks feel as you do, and I hate to tell people no, we really find that the best model for balance and all-around player enjoyment, has been to stick to pregens. That being said, we also make the characters much more impactful and interesting than most, IMHO. But, as we move forward into the future my hope is to work with our GMs to institute a system of including player-made characters as an option.
