I think the first 4 minutes of episode 1 did a great job of do the Anakin/Obi-Wan arc.

She already is. She has several projects under her belt. But also the way they wrote her feels very Leia.

I also like that we have seen almost everything in just these two episodes from the trailers. So anything come up will be all new.

I find it odd that he's insistent about training Luke, but clearly hasn't been practicing.
The chase/rooftop parkour scenes were awkward.
I feel like the Stagecraft screen was lacking in some scenes.
I actively don't like Reva. Leia's casting is quality and Kumail is great to watch, but Moses' acting is rough. I don't know if it's a casting mismatch or she just isn't that good, but for me the character isn't working as the series main antagonist.

Another good episode, but I can’t shake the feeling that this is continuity bending at best. Shouldn’t Leila’s message to obi wan be different in episode 4 given a shared history? Shouldnt the Death Star scene in ep 4 go down differently had Vader and Kenobi met after the duel in Ep 3?

It stretches continuity a bit, but I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Vader is more menacing than ever before. It's hard to imagine that Obi-Wan will be competitive in a rematch with Vader in this series, but maybe he'll have a Rocky style training montage that will whip him into shape.

I suspect we'll see a lot more of Darth Vader after this series. He's already been announced to be in Ahsoka, and I wouldn't be surprised if he gets his own series or movie, like he's had his own comic for quite a few years now.

If Kenobi were to face Vader 1 time and beat him in some way it would fix that part of the continuity. So he would return to being the master and Vader the learner as paraphrased in ANH. But with 3 episodes Kenobi was definitely not the master. As far as Leia I think it is fine so far. She only knows a Jedi named Ben so right? Obi-Wan Kenobi could seem as someone completely different her 8 years later. Ben does age a lot in those 8 years. Harsh Tatatooine suns and hermit life are likely to blame…lol.

In New Hope I don't think she was trying to introduce herself so much as kinder Obi-Wan's loyalty to the cause.

Owen talking about Obi-Wan

"He won't, I don't think he exists any more. He died about the same time as your father." Holds so much more meaning now. Obi-Wan died when Anakin died. Ben and Vader replaced them. Not because only Owen was hiding Kenobi from Luke but because Obi-Wan is a shell of his form self...at least so far he is.

This is only 6 episodes right? They are going to need to stop beating around the bush to get Kenobi where he needs to be at the end
