TOPIC: Dungeons & Dragons Honor Among Thieves Movie

For those aware, production is officially happening on the new D&D movie.

The official synopsis for the is:

An ex-Harper turned thief escapes from prison with his partner, a female barbarian, and reunites with a no-talent wizard and a druid new to their team in an effort to rob the cheating conman who stole all their loot from the heist that landed them behind bars, and used it to install himself as the Lord of Neverwinter. Only the traitor is allied with a powerful Red Wizard who has something far more sinister in store.

The movie has an overlapping 3 movie plan in the works. Ultimately centered around the Hand and Eye of Vecna.

Over the last couple days, set photos have been leaking out. Some are raising some questions.







Any idea as to the symbols on the banners?

To me, and this is my take.

Think Presto from the 80's cartoon. Can cast some basic spells, but they rarely ever turn out as they should have.

I'm more confused by the national park style information kiosk in the last pic.

Parts are being filmed at Alnwick Castle which does tours and such...or so the internet says.

The bar is set with the high drama of a crying space hamster. Honestly not sure if it is going to be better or worse.

Yea, but the video is only to advertise the return of Spelljammer to gameplay, not any sort of movie or video.



The crying hamster is also a weird tie in to Balders Gate as well.
