We've all should have heard of the Live action Movie in the works centered around the Eye & Hand of Vecna.

Now we have word of a Live Action TV series.

Brian Goldner, the CEO of Hasbro, announced earlier this week that the company very much intends to commit to the franchise, with the company's entertainment arm currently in the early stages of developing a live action show based around the lore of Dungeons and Dragons.

"[The team is] also working on a couple of different approaches, because there is so much mythology in Canon to - Dungeons & Dragons for live action television," Goldner said on Hasbro's quarterly earnings call. "And there's been very strong interest. We've talked about how many global streamers and terrestrial broadcasters have been very interested in Dungeons & Dragons."


Sadly no further info is available. We don't know which world or worlds they are looking at, which network or networks will get rights or any thing else.

The second dnd movie, wasnt bad. Wasnt great either but I'd rather it existed then didnt.

I am amazed that there has never been a good D&D series.
With fully developed worlds and settings, why hasnt anyone been able to do this?

Historically I have it on good authority TSR didnt want to give up enough control of their worlds to make it happen. With Hasbro at the helm who can say.
