TOPIC: Cogwind's Revenge 3D!!

We are announcing the release of Cogwind 3D!!

The new game includes all the Tokens, Trade Items, and Transmutes from the original Cogwind's Revenge, but instead of playing 2D puzzles, you now will walk through the dungeon! This is our most realistic interface. Move through the Astral Journey, just like you were there. Read the clues on the walls, interact with objects in the room, open Rogue Boxes, and fight challenging monsters! When it's all over, go to the Treasure Box and pull your treasure. You get one pull for each Rogue Box completed, and 4 additional pulls for completing rooms in the dungeon. There is no time limit on any room, you must solve the room in order to move on.

This new app is available for iPads (iPad 5 or later, or any iPad Pro) and for iPhone (iPhone 6s or later, but not iPhone 6). The link below will take you to the web address for the game.

We want to especially thank Wayne and William for their excellent beta testing! They fought through all the bugs so you don't have to.

I have an iPad Air 2 (2014) with iOS 12.1.4. It says it’s not supported.

Me, too. My iPad Air 2 won't support it. But my iPhone X does.

Yeah, I felt bad about that, but between some of the gyroscopic routines and some of the wall graphics (Astral Air), the app requires the ARKit, which is only supported on the later platforms. On iPad Air 2, it results in some annoying artifacts in the graphics. On iPhone 6, it crashes. In one case it locked up my test phone.

Short answer is that it requires the ARKit to make all the graphics work, and it is not supported on iPad Air 2.

Ok thanks Tom. I could try it on the iPhone 7, just would have preferred the larger screen.
