John, I'm pretty sure it ties to the number of posts you have on the forums. I'm not sure what the thresholds are for each level. I'm thinking Hero Level +2 is 5,000 posts. Hero Level +3 must be at 10,000 posts, Gary is our only Hero Level +3 member (although he'll be overtaken before long if he doesn't come back and start posting again).
