This is one of my favorite recipes, except I use tin foil instead of paper towel in the microwave. Also, I usually leave the microwave door open while I cook it so that I can watch the savory goodness up close.

This was such a fantastic idea! Who would have thought! I actually put individual bacon slices on individual paper plates and used Egyptian cotton towels to absorb the grease! It really classed up this timeless recipe. I also suggest accompanying with Late Night Cereal. Pick any cereal of choice, pour in bowl, add skim, whole or soy, almond milk, serve with spoon. The combo is to die for!

thank you from berlin - i haven't witnessed such a miraculous life-changing revelation of god's wonders since the birth of my first child. one request: could you maybe change the name to 'all day bacon'? last time i wanted to prepare your heavenly treat of wonder it was just quarter past 5 and i hungrily waited in the kitchen for five hours.
p.s. is the 'late night' referring to local time or would i have to sync the recipe your time zone? if so, i may not even have done it right yet. silly me.

I made this in my EZ bake oven. It took nine days. On the fourth day, the bulb burnt out so I replaced it with one from a tanning bed. Five days later, out came Snooki.
How do I get her to leave?

I made the terrible mistake making this in the morning and it turned my microwave into a portal to another dimension. Then, a bizarro Tom Cruise crawled out of it and now he won't stop hitting on my Wife.
Ray Ray, please, how do I close the portal? You've got to help!

Do i have to push any buttons on the microwave? And what if my microwave is a cardboard box that I just wrote "Microwave!!!" on with a sharpie?

Thanks Rachel for the recipe. It was one of your more difficult recipes to do, but it turned out so Yumm. I'm surprised you didn't recommend to soak the paper towels in EVOO first, then microwave it. It is to die for if you do that first. I also would keep the bacon in until you see smoke filling up the microwave. It produces such a delightful nutty flavor. Finished in less than 30 minutes, this one defiantly should be put into one of your recipe books.
My only criticism is that it's too bad its a late night recipe only, my children have to be in bed early so they won't be ever able to try it.
Please post one for early morning bacon. Thanks!

If this angel of cooking had just come along years earlier, Canada wouldn't have screwed up their bacon.

Ok, I followed the instructions, but now my bacon is trapped within the microwave. Am I supposed to remove it? If so, how? Please help.
