TOPIC: Can't Resist......

Hubby and I were sorting tokens tonight. I have discovered my cat, Saint, likes tokens. Saint gets into the five gallon bucket we're putting weapons in, hops out with token in mouth and off he goes. When I finally get the token back - it's a green one. It's seems everytime he slipped past me he'd run off with a red or green token. roflmao Go figure......my cat is not only a thief but a token freak. :shock:

I hereby announce that any token found at SoCal with cat teeth marks is rarer still. After all Saint, my cat, stole it. j/k

Gwenivere used to be a kleptomaniac when she was younger. One day I was getting ready to leave the house and realized the rug in the entryway was "lumpy". I picked it up and underneath were several paper clips, some pennies, and my diamond earrings I had been searching for. :shock:

Thankfully, she outgrew that phase.

I have little enough, and lost enough that there isn't anything left to steal. hehehehe, my ring I usually keep on at all times or put in a drawer, lest I lose that too! hehehehe
But at least kitties are just klepto's, instead of having munchausen syndrome by proxy like Lassie! Now there was one twisted puppy! Always pushing little Timmy into wells and off cliffs so she could play the hero! Bad Dog! Bad, Bad, Bad Dog!
That is why I stick with cats!

I love that story about your cat taking tokens out of the bucket. I wonder if there's something in the red or green ink that perhaps makes them smell different to Saint? I wonder if we should figure out a way to have the cat in the tavern clutching a token? Nah, people would just want to steal it more.

.....at band camp.

Well there was a band and camp, just not band camp, oh and the cat.

Ophelia started out as a kitten stealing my hair ties and bobby pins (I was military, so had to do the updo thing). If I would leave the jar I kept them in open, by the time I got home from duty I would be lucky to find even one of them. So I started keeping my hair stuff in my truck, and never brought it inside the house.

Jackers is my token stealing fool cat though. He loves tokens, and will cart them off and invaribly loose them under my entertainment center, where he can spend hours looking under it while upside down, and trying to get a paw in there to get them out.

They called me crazy for using the subliminal messaging to get cats

trained for the rigorous task of token theft. They said the cost far outways

anything they might retreive and that only a small percentage of them

would make it across state borders back to deliver the tokens obtains if

they could even comprehend the proper direction but I say to them all

now HA gaze into my hand and behold the fruits of my genius. A cure

miinor wounds potion token. HA I say to you and Ha again.
