GAH! speaking of time... I keep looking at your countdown timer to SoCal! Why doth I torture myself so? I pray thee, tell me why?

Well Sire,

There are 2 schools of theory currently.
First;
The amount of force you use to try and not to think about that in effect is also equal to the driving force keeping it on your mind. While telling yourself not to think about it, you are still in fact thinking about it. Therefore creating a vicious cycle.

Second;
And more likely, its all the subliminal messages in all my posts luring you to check on it. Curiosity is a subtle, but powerful weapon.

But I am whistling deficent, so it just sounds like I'm wheezing, which I may very well be. But for entertainment purposes, I'll be calling it whistling!

Congrats! Gadgets....ooooooh, I love gadgets! And working on TiVo...what could be cooler than that? I just got one and I am perfectly convinced that TiVo is the coolest thing EVER. How did I ever live without it? Screw sliced bread...this thing rocks!

*little laugh* Oh no hun, actually in the photo, only one of those was one of my brothers, the others were only a couple of my cousins.
In my generation, there are 3 brothers, 7 male cousins, and here on the forum there is also an adopted bro. I'm the only girl. So only about a 1/4 of my relative male body guards are present in that picture. *little laugh* Plus I'm a sickly, homely, little housebound. Can you say single for life? I knew you could.

I know it was mean, but I tell you the costume rental place was fresh out of periwinkle, cornflower, teal, lilac, sea mist, irish mist, and kelly green.
Besides the lavender were all those left over neon tulle skirts left over from the 80's and I could hardly do that now to those poor hamsters!

Oh yeah and Indy,

The rental place says they want their periwinkle tutu's back. They'll give you a two week grace period because of the new job, but after that . . .

You just want me to post a picture of me in the tutu don't ya? Well it isn't go to happen lass! No ones ever gonna seen dem pictures of me in the periwinkle tutu... I mean there ain't no pictures of me in no tutu's... b'sides, there ain't no good matchin shoes that don't rub they hair off me halflin feet.

Thanks Lori! Maybe I can get you the inside scoop on the next generation of TiVO and other DVR devices.

Ooooh, better yet... maybe Thomson/RCA needs to be a future TD sponsor with a few nice plasma or DLP TV's for the event. Yeah, now we're talkin'. Maybe a nice big digital projector against some large dungeon room wall with a surprise scene for wayward adventurers... :twisted:
