Init roll = 11

Breon's Staff of Power glows, and he mutters, "I think I'll need the stronger version for Strahd." He points the staff at the banshee, and casts magic missile at her. [8 points damage]

Cram feels like he is in a strange game of 'pull and push.' Go one way, go the other (init 1).

"Sorry, lady, we've already got a bard and a juggler, we don't need any more entertainers."

(Initiative roll 14 +1 for Awareness is 15)

"Beside, your voice is mediocre at best." Lexan continues, throwing his dagger at the banshee's throat.

(Attack roll 9 + 11 = 20, damage roll 1 + 9 = 10 on hit)

Your attacks cut through banshee's ethereal form dispersing it somewhat but she manages to draw herself together and wail.
The sound is beautiful and horrible all at once (and any of you in melee range must make a DC 23 Fortitude save or die).

save = 17 (die) + 13 = 30

Cram looks a bit drained as he shakes off the Banshee's Wail. He turns towards her and swings his Mithral Sword. (16 die + 8 = 24 to hit.) (damage 7 die + 13 + 2 cold + 2 fire = 24 total + Bardsong)

*apparently Obsidian Portal's die roller likes me today :) *

OOC - Query - are spellcasters within "melee range?" I assume not.

OOC - Assuming I am indeed out of melee range -

"Widseth," Breon cries, "Would your MUTE spell keep her from making her death wail?"

Without waiting for an answer, Breon casts Scorching Ray at the Banshee.

"Rolled" 17, plus 5 (RoW & Sniper Specs), had to hit AC 15 - 18 points fire damage.

Fort save 1d20 = 18+12 = 30
Other save 1d20 = 11

To hit 1d20 = 20+7, 1+9 damage

To hit 1d20 = 15+7, 2+9 damage
You can't fix stupid but you can TPK it.

I would also assume not unless you had some reason to want to be there XD

With that the Banshee crumbles into into dust leaving your group standing alone in the ruins of the now empty crypts.

Delmar wearily gathers up his shield and axe and sits down and rests waiting for his Templar set to heal some of his wounds.
