(I think we need to take our party damage for round 2. I think any that hit me take deadbane damage. Just a reminder--after round 3--Barkley use the Raven, and then we'll deal with what's left).

I sing to the party in harmony with the lute playing,

"Paladin, paladin, where do you roam?
We cannot allow you to find a new home.
Your powers for hire are not for Strahd.
We'll help you remember you to serve your god."

Lexan skips around the grasping claws (23 AC) in time the Widseth's beat. He stabs down at one of them with his dagger. (roll 11 + 5 = 16 to hit. Roll 2 + 5 = 7 damage on hit).

Cram is waiting for the undead to come into range of his sword.

Round2

Driven by beast Delmar pulls down and partly devours the nearest pair of flashy zombies. A third skeletal form takes advantage of his distraction and drives a rusty blade between his shoulder blades (roll 20 dmg4)

bpsymington wrote: OOC - I'm back!

Breon casts Magic Missile at Delmar (11 points), then uses his Cabal set power to cast it again, this time targeting the banshee.

The first bolt of arcane energy strikes Delmar with an audible crack scorching flesh and bringing him down though the wound already appears to be regenerating. The second misspelled screams out over the heads of the rank and file undead striking the banshee.

Adeya wrote: "Oh, Delmar!" I gasp at the sight of his transformation. However despite the danger he poses I cannot bring myself to attack him, so I focus on the undead horde instead.

Using my Bracelets of the Zephyr I cast Acid Splash on the two closest skeletons doing 6 points acid damage to one of them and 3 acid to the other.

Acid from your spell melts the first skeleton into a pile of costic goo and chars the second. The damaged skeleton retaliates by Stabbing towards you with its acid scarred blade (roll 20 dmg 1), moments later a third skeleton moves to occupy the space of its former ally clawing viciously as you dance back out of reach (roll 1).

You are meet by a skeleton and 3 zombies whose feeble attacks you easily deflect (roll 11,9,5,14 dmg 4,3,3,4) as you bowl through their line towards the banshee.

Widseth wrote: (If Delmar is still within 30 feet. The dancing sword will again attack him next round. Otherwise it will return to me.)

Two skeletal form attack you showing some vintage of lingering intellect account they try fruitlessly to rip the lute from your hands (roll 12,6 dmg 1,3). A third closes in attempting to run you through from the side (roll 4) but finds its blow easily parried by the returning arc of the dancing sword.

You slash off one of the skeletal arms at the wrist as you dance your way clear of the rest (roll 10,19,7 dmg 4,2,2)

In the distance you can see the endless legions of undead closing in ever closer as the slow recognition of living beings works its way across the banshees features and she prepares to wail (OOC: it would be exceptionally bad if she were allowed to succeed).

In the distance you can begin to hear a rumbling from beneath the tombs.

Cram charges at the Banshee, swinging his Mithral Sword wildly (16 + 8 = 24 to hit). (1 die roll + 13 + 2 fire + 2 cold = 18ish damage).

*edit forgot Bardsong in those totals. What is it with Widseths? +2/+3?

(How far is the banshee? Air born? The lute is strapped in a holder on the back of my shield. Shield hand firmly grasps the neck of the instrument. I raise the pitch, tenor, and volume of my song to try to counteract a wail by the banshee and fill the ears of the party. With sword in hand I strike at whatever is in front of me--to hit 8 +10 damage 6 +13. Dancing sword will attack banshee if within 30 feet and not in the air -- to hit 19 +2 damage 6 +2. If not close enough the dancing sword will parry to defend me.)

"I can buy us some time," Breon calls out. His hands create an intricate arcane pattern of glowing lines in the air, and he casts Lesser Maze on the banshee.

Barkley raises his Greater Holy Symbol.

1d20 = 16

Delmar gains control of himself again and lunges for the Banshee. He screams out, "I attack whatever hits me when I am changed!" Hoping that the others will hear him. Not sure what he can do with his empty hand Delmar suddenly remembers his Pouch of Tulz. He reaches in and pours oil of ghost touch on his hands before pummeling the Banshee.

fist one 1d20 = 8+7 to hit 1+9 damage

fist two 1d20 = 19+7 to hit 2+9 damage
