"Friends, there are powerful magical forces here," Breon exclaims. "I sense conjugation magic emanating from this crypt," pointing at 32, "and powerful, but muted, magic from this one," gesturing towards crypt 37.

Kryndal places Ireena's remains in St. Findaway's crypt.

I withdraw a scroll and cast the spell (speak with dead).

"Ireena, we wish to end the evil your family and land has endured. We ask your purity to help us. Can you tell us where Strahd rests? Can you tell us about any more dangers of the crypts?"

"I also sense the conjugation magic Breon speaks of," I say coming out of a reverie.

"Please forgive my inabilities against those hell hounds. I too, was lost in images for a time... werewolves and a strange tower." I glance at Delmar and consider the implications of that for a moment. "But we can discuss that later."

I turn my attentions to Ireena curious to hear the answers to Widseth's questions.

As you place the fallen girls sanctified remain into the crypt you feel a strange pulling drawing you towards the alcoves at the back of the crypt. It is easily resisted but persistent.

After what seems like an eternity Ireena's voice drifts softly into your ears. "Murderers," she whispers, "you kill me then ask that I betray he who gave me power."

The spirit of Ireena laugh, " I will tell you what you ask only because he will destroy you. Run to your deaths brief mortals, the master awaits you in the castles chapel and I await you in hell."

Delmar bows his head and says, "How quickly the corruption takes them. I had hoped..." and he trails off not saying what he had hoped.

Raising his head a look of determination mixed with something unidentifiable comes over Delmar. "Peace," he says quietly yet firmly, "let there be peace."

(I look around the crypts. Is there anything I see that might be of any use to us? I look in the crypt with the skeletal remains (Gralmor Nimblenobs) with hands folded with the sword. I'm constantly checking the vent above for anything suspicious.)

"Delmar what is it you feel? I seek peace, but it seems far from us."

"Though I dislike to speak ill of the dead, I find myself wondering if being transformed is what caused this girl's fall from grace. For her soul reflect the beast after such a short time, perhaps she was not kidnapped. Perhaps we were mislead, and she came to the vampire of her own will. And instead of protecting her, her brother and the priest were holding her captive, to prevent this."
