"The past, the light, former glory lost. All lost,Sergei, Tatyana he killed you, he killed you and we are lost" the ghostly voice says this time shifting tone to that of a woman as it again moves to a different statue.

"It is a tragedy that the memories in this place are of such darkness. Tell us--how can we return light and goodness to this castle, and to these lands?"

"His pact must be broken. The vampire Strahd must die" echos the ghostly voice this time from a statue of a stately man in heavy plate armor.

Breon asks, "Can you tell us where we can find the silver raven? Will it help us break the pact?"

"Twice asked and twice counted" the ghostly voice say from across the room, "the silver you seek lays amid his gold. Light lost and forgotten, in a room of worldly wealth. It will not slay the beast but hold him back for a time.

"A mysterious answer. Perhaps we get but one question per statue. Let us use care in asking others."

To the group--"Should we ask how to get to his vault or treasure chamber, then?"

"I believe that is an excellent idea."

"Ask what you want. I have no use for this magick." Cram snarls.

"Breon and Adeya have proven to me magic can be useful" he adds under his breath.

I give Cram a smile at his compliment and then answer Kryndal's question. "I think that we ought to ask where the vault is. I believe finding the silver raven will be important. Even if it will only 'hold him back for a time' it may give us the time we need to defeat him."

OOC: Sorry for my long absence. I went on vacation and my access to the internet was much less than I thought it would be.

Kryndal nods. "We don't know how many questions we have left, so we'd best phrase them well. Should we ask where the vault is located, or how to get to it?"
