Coin of Wealth Coming to Gamehole Con
The good news is that 2027 tokens are on track to be delivered in a time frame like last year. As such, you can expect delivery of early token orders prior to Gamehole Con. The exact dates will be announced as we get closer to the token pre-order launch.
The timing of the token delivery gives us the opportunity to allow in person token transmuting for the Mythic Coin of Wealth at Gamehole Con. The recipe for this token requires the 2027 Ultra Rare Bead of Need, thus you will need to receive your 2027 token order prior to or at Gamehole Con.
As a result of this early transmute window, one other change is being implemented effective at Gamehole Con. This rule will also apply for VTD events in November and December of 2026. We are going to allow only two 2027 Treasure Tokens to be equipped at Gamehole Con 2026. The Mythic Coin of Wealth and the Bead of Need can be equipped at Gamehole Con – as well as during VTD events in November and December. Will the increased treasure be in effect for the November and December VTD events? Yes.
Will this change the condensed treasure offered with VTD?
No. One condensed pack consisting of 10 treasure tokens will continue to be awarded for every 27 Treasure Chips earned. However, if you equip the Mythic Coin of Wealth (and thus earn 30 treasure tokens) those selecting condensed treasure will receive one condensed treasure pack and three individual treasure tokens.
When can we expect to receive our 2027 token orders? Can we take delivery at Gamehole Con?
The exact schedule and details around 2027 token orders are still TBD, but you should expect a timeline and process that is like what was used in 2025. Last year tokens were shipped out in the first week of October.
Since the Mythic Coin of Wealth and Bead of Need are active beginning with Gamehole Con, why not the other 2027 tokens?
We need to allow time for our website and app developers to incorporate all the 2027 tokens into their programs. They should be able to accommodate the two treasure enhancing tokens prior to the November VTD. Besides, the normal timeline does not allow for tokens to be used until the new year.
Why make an exception for the Mythic Coin of Wealth and Bead of Need?
The Mythic Coin of Wealth is a unique token that requires a very large recipe. Handling this transmutation through the mail has always been a source of concern for many players. We do listen and agree. The early delivery of 2027 tokens has created the opportunity for us to offer this alternative.
What will be the schedule for transmuting the Mythic Coin of Wealth?
The exact schedule for transmuting at Gamehole Con is still TBD and will be announced well before the start of the Con. Expect it to be like prior years. As for transmuting for the Coin of Wealth through the mail, that timeline is still TBD, as it will require an update to our online transmute ordering page.
Can we transmute for any other 2027 tokens at Gamehole Con?
No. As indicated, the Mythic Coin of Wealth is a unique token that calls for the early transmute window. Other 2027 transmutes, including the legendary tokens, will become available in January 2027. The exact timing will be announced along with the rest of the 2027 schedule at a date TBD.
Do I still need a Safehold I to equip the Mythic Coin of Wealth?
Yes. As with all Mythic tokens, a Safehold I is required to equip them.
