TOPIC: GenCon tickets question

Say I'm at GenCon, some time on my schedule has opened up, and I want to see if there are any TD runs with slots available. How far ahead of time do I need to go onto the GenCon website to get a ticket for a not-yet-full run? I assume I can't just show up outside the dungeon credit card in hand.

I believe you can purchase a ticket on their system pretty much up to start time. If it's after start time, you'll need to do generics - so it's so much easier to get it done via their system. It will take a few minutes for the tickets to show up on your account and for your badge to scan, so I'd recommend giving yourself 10 minutes before start time so that you don't have to wait for their system to update so that we can scan your badge.

You CANNOT show up outside the dungeon credit card in hand - unless you're doing that and then using your phone to go into your Gen Con account and buying the ticket! All tickets must be purchased through Gen Con's system, so the easiest thing is to make sure you have the Gen Con app installed and a method of payment on file with that account to make any last minute transactions go easier!
