The FAQ still refers to the Boots of the Plague which have become a kilt.

If the goal is to make Spirit Pets more available to players, there are two things that need to be done.
1. Make Spirit Pets usable in VTD. Currently we can't. I don't know what it would take, but a conversation should happen if it hasn't already.
2. Change how Spirit Pets get a damage bonus. Currently they count as an alchemical weapon. I don't think there's a spot for that on the Party Card. DM's can either guess or just not add a damage bonus to them. Maybe let the damage bonus be half the user's Ranged damage bonus. Or add a spot to the party card.

Alchemical damage bonus is missile damage bonus. Sure, if normal weapon use for missile is something like Thor's, it's messy as "thrown" weapons also add STR bonus, but, if normal missile is something like Io's, it's just same bonus.

I don’t even bother with spirit pets. They don’t get a to hit bonus like a plus weapon. They are just silly tokens to me so I don’t have any. That said if they make other people happy I think that is great.

So I see the epic tokens seem to be gone. I may have missed that in the earlier round of development.

Anyway I do think there should be some kind of multi year transmute on the 1K orders because it will help prop up sales on years with weaker sets than this one is shaping up to be.

Also I thought there was going to be a multi year tome transmute starting 2027. I know sometimes I only get tokens because the multi year transmute, heck 2026 I only wanted one token from the main set and it was a kind of.

That said I’ll be either through auctions or just an order doing a large order in 2027 if things don’t change much in the set.

2027 Changes to Multi-Year Tokens
We are very excited to be able to host TD players at our home turf in May during our Ring Con event in Marion, Illinois. There is some thought that we might make it a yearly event, so we are taking a pause in token development to see how this might effect the $1K, $2K and $8K freebies folks get for supporting us. The plan now is to finalize the 2027 Treasure Token Collection, and then address these concerns. We might turn one of the “finalized” Ultra Rare tokens into a multi-year token at this final stage, too. Thank you for your patience on this topic

If TDA wants to "hedge" on one of the reward levels, I'd like to suggest a variable TG that could fill the 1K reward level just for next year. Something like this:

Dust of Transmutation
This token may substitute 10x TG1, 5x TG2, or 1 TG3 in a recipe

Suggestion - if the "Cosmic" benefit is meant to be cult-like, I'd recommend a dark element to it such as you reduce your max hp by 2 to reroll the save or do 3 points of damage to everyone in your party (they must be willing) to power the dark benefit.

That might be nice for next year, there seems to be an extreme shortage on Oil of Enchantment and Elven Bismuth, I think they're real transmute bottlenecks right now.

I really like the overall theme this year, but I will say that I will not make my normal 8k order if there are not any premium tokens like the rings or the path. There is no reason to make an 8k purchase unless you are a reseller without them in the mix. I am okay with them not being there, but this will mean a significant increase in the price of trade goods and PYP's and I think it would hurt overall sales.

I would also love a TD con every year but it may be best to leave it at completion of multi-year transmutes and not tying it to a purchase level for a year as was rumored. I don't want top have to make a 1k purchase to get an admission token, that gives me the ability to spend another several thousand dollars* to go to the actual event. If an event is every year, missing it is less of a big deal. If something happens every couple years I'm going to make sure I don't miss it. A single annual purchase also doesn't have the same engagement that a mulit-year event does.

Edit* The several thousand dollars is in reference to missed time at work, travel, hotel and food.
