TOPIC: Thank you, Adventurers!

Thank you, Adventurers! 1 month 3 weeks ago #1

I am still a little overwhelmed from this weekend, but in a good way.

I had the most amazing time just being able to riff with friendly faces, even if it meant stepping out of character for a bit. You all are some of the kindest, friendliest people I have the pleasure of meeting. (Some of you, meeting 4-5 times in a weekend. You know who you were. )

Not only am I overwhelmed by the pure amount of sugary treats you all gifted us, but I was inspired by the amount of genuine "thanks" we recieved. Cons like Gen Con make you feel a little more...well, like an NPC, but you guys have a way of making this spirit feel human again. I enjoyed all my trinket trading as well. I hope you know that I have a special little treasure box for my trinkets.

But if any one of you mother-cluckers drink that soup again.....I'm gonna haunt you in your sleep.
Probably your second-favorite NPC/DM.

I hope all of those sugary treats were consumed. Were the iced oatmeal cookies any good? I wasn't sure if they would be but wanted some variety besides the sour patch kids and the esther price chocolates. If they were good, Id buy them again for just me because I LOVE oatmeal cookies (without raisins)

If you do, would love to try them! If you don't, absolutely no worries!

I guess they were so good I missed out on them. I didn't see them.

I hope everyone liked the Crav'n Oreo Style Sandwich Cookies. I had to bring them since they were so on theme.

I did not realize that bringing goodies into the Dungeon for volunteers was a thing, and that it was appreciated. Does that happen at GENCON also? Maybe I should start doing that also, I love the idea of giving volunteers/DMs/NPCs a treat while they're working a long shift.

Always appreciate those when i'm in Training and you come through with those. Every year i swear i'm going to get a bag for myself and forget until i see you come through.
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven
