It's been a while, let's dust off this format and give it a go!

I have all 10 tickets and am looking for more players; post here with class preferences if you'd like to join! Cost is $78 each.

Bloody Nightmare challenge rules for this run:

• Nightmare difficulty with combat path choices (if applicable)
• no avoidable puzzle damage (must consent to spoilers)
• one token that grants level 5 with no other benefit
• Treasure Enhancers (of course)
• all other tokens must be Rare, Uncommon, or Common
• consumables may NOT be used to heal HP
• Potion Death's Door (or equivalent) and non-healing consumables are allowed if you want to use them, but no expectations

Warning: we will almost certainly all die, possibly well before room 7! Don't make this your only run of the weekend.

Shirt: Linked Shirt of Healing
Legs: Pants of Blisswalk

You probably want to stack HP, saves, and to-hit (for sliding classes), not necessarily in that order. It's often better to prioritize one or two saves and ignore the others than to balance all three. DR is like extra HP if you know it will apply. Bonus damage only makes a difference when you hit.

Would love to be one of the Fighters but also happy to play Paladin. Open to other classes as well based on party needs

I obviously won't be hitting any slide attacks, but I expect trying to keep people alive will be a full time job!

Endgame's build targets for entry-level nightmare may provide a useful thought exercise for us, particularly:

2) Save at least +15
3) At least 50hp
4) +hit for classes that slide at least +17
5) For classes that care about AC, it should be around 28
...
7) Class role (ex: 2H damage for Barbarian, Healing for Cleric, AC for paladin for guard)

For Bloody Nightmare the takeaway is not to meet all these targets (we can't!), but that each build will need to completely ignore some targets (e.g. AC or specific saves) in order to come close on as many others as possible -- including a bit of +damage where possible for classes that primarily deal damage.

Aren't there rare level helper tokens like hitchhikers and folio's thay could boost up some of those numbers. Any little benefits could make big differences when it comes to survivability.

Sweet! From the folks whose builds I've seen or heard about thus far, we have Wizard bringing the firepower, Paladin and Dwarf bringing the AC, and Barbarian bringing the smashy-smash. (and of course yours truly as heal-bot)
