TOPIC: VTD Holiday Kids Only Run

VTD Holiday Kids Only Run 4 days 4 hours ago #1

I am enamored with the idea enough to stick my neck out and try to coordinate a kids only run. I suspect the steps are:
  • Check for interest
  • Get TD approval
  • Coordinate Time
But am open to ideas on how to do things better

Possible little adventurers
  1. little Squirrelich 1 (12) - Cleric, secondary: Paladin
  2. little Squirrelich 2 (10) - Druid
  3. little David Zych (10)
  4. little jadziadax8 - Bard

Ground rules
  • Each household needs an adult supervising, but not participating in, the run
  • We are on a public forum, please keep information shared about your child limited. The only relevant information might be age.
  • Lets assume normal difficulty, and it is ok to be a little over geared. We don't need any tears

My 10yo has never played but has expressed interest in trying it, and this sounds like a great way to do so! Sat afternoon (>= 2:00pm) or most times on Sun should work for us. Class flexible. Are we thinking Normal difficulty?

Have not thought that far ahead 😀. My personal vote would be that by default, I could put my kids in HC but only if everyone wanted it

I'll ask the kids when they get home. My prediction is that the Rogue (backup is Bard) child will be up for it and the Barbarian (backup is Paladin) will be wishy-washy.

We already have tix for the Friday at 5:12 pm run, but can transfer to another if need be.

They're geared for HC, but it may be easier to acquire a Normal Only run for them.

I have 1 maybe 2 kids who might want to try (12 & 13). They've never played and I would ask for normal. I will ask tonight. Sundays of after 3 central on Saturday are best

I’m not sure I can hold my 2 kids attention (only 7) but I’m super jealous!

Wade...mine are older and it's still had to get them to sit still for more that 20 minutes!

If we're making a list put little Two Tongues as Dwarf

Well, that was a flop. Go ahead and take my slot off. Both boys said no. I think this is a great idea though and if it's something that's approved and is successful, they might be interested later. Thank you very much for considering them!

My 13 year old will probably be interested. Usually plays Wizard. I will ask him when he gets back from practice.

Ha ha! Yes, but I'd rather them be wishy washy now instead of the day of.
