TOPIC: 2026 Transmute Token Recipes (post 2026 details reveal)

2026 Transmute Token Recipes (post 2026 details reveal) 3 days 2 hours ago #1

Due to the feedback we received following the changes* to the 2026 Treasure Token details, we have changed the 2026 Transmute recipes as shown in the attached file. While not ideal, it is hoped these changes will reduce issues folks might encounter in 2026. Thanks for your patience!

Personally, I'm a big fan of "any 202X UR" in recipes. It gives me more flexibility and I won't be disappointed if I pull an UR I don't "need", or gives me the option to grab a lesser-valued UR to use for a recipe.

Out of curiosity, what would be ideal to you? Was it purely just to have the dedicated tokens for each recipe?

Thanks for making the Earcuff recipe simpler. I don’t mind the UR requirement.

With the increased rarity of monster bits in treasure, adding a UR is a big deal.

I would love to see "any 2023- 2026 UR" to line up with the bits

Or maybe any 2026 R, to keep more in line with prior recipes?

I agree

Heck since in the past it was just a rare if we are going to require a UR, why not get rind of the standard pack part, A pointy stick even kind of feels like a monster bit from the last few years.

Sounds like a much needed adjustment. Can someone point me to the updated verbiage? Thanks!

Bead of Divine Choice

This is a really inexpensive recipe. This will not be a $100 token, shouldn't really be close in less than a year. As a relic, I would expect to take Golden Fleece. I'd have it also take 5000gp, but unusual relics following regular relics having that requirement seems a lost cause.

Earcuff of Greater Glory

I always expected it would take Charm of Glory, Gloves of Glory, or Hand of Glory since it made those less valuable. With the lack of interest from many for OOP ingredients, even with how powerful this is, would it make sense to have the UR requirement be any 2026 standard pack UR *or* Charm/Gloves/Hand of Glory?

Gloves of Infamy

Requiring no Mystic Silk is just so non-intuitive to me for gloves. Why do we even differentiate trade goods if they aren't going to be meaningfully, thematically distinct?

I would swap the 5x PS into IS Obsidian Shard and move the 5x MS from that to Gloves of Infamy to just pretend there's some theme to trade goods.

Ioun Stone of Mystic Heroism

Ring of Heroism recipe required Golden Fleece. This is just a better token than that. The recipe is so cheap. Another token that won't go for $100. I could see it getting down to $50 within a year. Comes across to me as a 4* recipe rather than a relic recipe.

The Arcanum recipes should have been much more expensive to begin with, like 2x every TG and 10000gp to account for the massive inflation in the game. I know it's a lost cause on Arcanum to not make them so trivial, but whatever the next cycle of multiyears is after Arcanum really should be like 1x each UR and 3x each TG and 10,000gp. Eldritch started when people had massively smaller collections, so grandfathering them in made some sense. But, Eldritch and Arcanum tokens are just so absurdly powerful yet became so easy to make. The reason why that's a problem is that it undermines the value of other higher end tokens, like relics and legendaries.

I like that idea. Or at least the ones that were printed recently enough to meet security concerns.

I would use similar verbiage as the Legendary tokens use for the "any 2026 Token" to show the quantity needed.
For Example:
Censer of Divine Aid
1x Any Common GP token

I would also add the rarity to the common tokens for this year. It could lead to some confusion without it.
