Q. +2 Mace of Branding - I think it will be fun to play with in person, but will it have any special effects in VTD?
A. It would do the same exact damage as the previous round(s).

Q. If I have a weapon that has a crit range bigger that 19+ and I equip a Keen Knightly Ring, do I lose that bigger crit range?
A. Yes. It would not be a good idea to do so.

For simplicity and consistency with other tokens, could the Keen Knightly Ring just give you an expanded crit range of 19-20 on melee attacks instead of setting it to a fixed value? That way it would follow the same rules as other crit enhancing tokens, i.e. they can overlap but not stack.
I play Rogue. Occasionally I even play Rogue well.

Can you write out what you want on the token? Thanks.

Sure, it's mainly just the word "sets" which would need removing. I suggest the below which is based on the recent Amulet of Aiming:

"Crit range extended to "19-20" on melee attack slides"

Mace of Branding essentially does what Fighter Duelist's Twist the Blade does.

Twist the Blade doesn't do anything in VTD to my knowledge. People don't care much about alt classes working coherently** and really don't seem to care whether something like this would work in VTD as people choose to play alt classes.

If it's easy enough to code Branding to work in VTD, then Twist the Blade should be coded as well. If it's meaningful effort, can just have a VTD ability for these two that is different, a la Flanking. In fact, it could just be the same as Flanking (but for the person using the Mace or TtB and only for 1 round) as the theme is basically the same.

** Alt classes are actually way more screwed up than core classes mechanically at this point, with things like infinite locks on monsters with Illusionist. While I wouldn't only redesign alt classes, I'd definitely include alt classes in a class redesign project.
