TOPIC: 2026 Special Token Ideas

This is for tokens like the Patron, $2K, $1K and "Averon" tokens. Ideas? We have a bunch of multi-year stuff (including a "4C" token) coming due in 2026.

Silver Coin of Luck +1

CURSED Witch Skin Hat
Wearer rolls all saves twice and takes worse result.

Arcanum Greaves: -1 damage

Greaves of Protection: -2 spell damage

Arcanum Ring or Ring of the Sacred Circle: +1 saves, +1 AC, +3 hp, and -1 melee & ranged damage

Your probably all over this already, but what about if the treasure box "special", aka Idol, Rune type tokens are cards from a Tarot/Tarokka/Harrow deck? Then combine the 40 (54/78) card tokens into a Legendary "Deck"/Totem token.

Earcuff of Greater Glory
This earcuff allows the wearer equip up to four rings instead of the normal maximum of two.

The effect from this item will not stack with other __ of Glory items.

I love this idea. It is outside the box thinking.

Averon-like item for the year:
Averon's ringing - single use bell that grants +2 to initiative for the party for the run.
(yes pun on the whole ring theme...)
Averon's Pi Slice - heals 3 hp, restores 1 spell slot
(sorry - can't help myself on the circle related puns this time...)

Separately - since 2026 is Ringcon, please bring back the silver (or gold, etc) coins for a TD tavern. They can be redeemed for fortune telling, bag check, clues, or something fun like that. Definitely not thinking a power boost - more just fun and humor.

Maybe “Mark of the 1st Tenet” should be +3 to Intelligence?

For Averon some possible names: Averon's Cherry Liqueur, Cordial, Schnapps, Brandy or my favorite Sherry

As for some possible effects:

- Heals 3 hp & prevents and reverses lycanthropy (one use)
- Immune to lycanthropy (1 use, redeem at start)
- Temporarily inflicts with lycanthropy, +4 Strength (one room), loss 3 hp at end of room.
- Play in response to monster attack, repels Vampire's bite attack (one use)
- +1 all Saves (1 use, redeem at start)

I really like the redeem at start idea, similar to Averon’s Cherry Ale for what it's worth.

How about something fun for those who like to play with PUGs? The slotless +1HP would still make this a desirable token.

Adds +1 to maximum HP. When playing on Normal or non-lethal mode, you receive XP as though playing Hardcore mode.
