+2 Holy Claymore
Barbarian, fighters, Paladin.
10-11-12-13-14-15-16-17-18-19
Wheel includes 2 points of sacred damage

+3 holy Zweihänder
Barbarian, fighters, Paladin.
11-12-13-14-15-16-17-18-19-20
Wheel includes 2 points of sacred damage
Smite: Before sliding, Paladin may mark off detect evil, remove disease, or sacrifice to add +10 melee damage.

+4 holy Flamberge
Barbarian, fighters, Paladin.
12-13-14-15-16-17-18-19-20-21
Wheel includes 2 points of sacred damage
19-20 crit
Greater smite: as smite, but may also use lay on hands boxes to add 5 damage per box marked


Damage wheels are due to these 2 points:

1) Kilgore's basically requires that the 2H weapon have a higher damage wheel (otherwise why would a fighter use it)
2) Averon's basically requires that the 2H weapon have a higher damage wheel (otherwise why would a barbarian use it)

Red Herring Charm - UR - Once per room, after taking puzzle damage heal 6 points.
Greater Red Herring Charm - Relic - Twice per room, after taking puzzle damage heal 6 points.
Touch Everything Red Herring Charm - Legendary - Three times per room, after taking puzzle damage heal 6 points.

Once per game as a Standard Action, the owner may throw the Jack o'Lantern as a ranged attack. On a natural 20, the target is Feared during their next round of combat.
I play Rogue. Occasionally I even play Rogue well.

Enhanced
+1 Arrow of Undead Slaying - (one use) nat 20 kills undead creature hit.
Transmute would require a rare arrow (something like a +1 arrow of undead pummeling +5 dmg vs undead)

Exalted
Batinksy's exploding doll - (one use) - Wind up the doll and set them after your victim! Strong dmg wheel (min 3, max 16) but should have a backfire option where the doll changes its mind and goes after you. Requires a rare gold token and 2 monster bits (random monster bits because stitching random things together is Blinksky's jam.)
(homage to Blinksky the toymaker from Curse of Strahd)

Exalted
+1 Leg of the Shack - Can hit incorporeal creatures normally - below average damage, can be turned in to get a bard lore?
(transmute including a monster bit of a leg from Baba Yaga's hut)
(based on Baba Yaga's ties to Strahd in Ravenloft)

1 Tarot draw
Can only be redeemed at Ringcon, would require solving puzzles or other community related activities to earn the right to draw. The results are permanent with equal chance for good or ill.

Melee-focused item
Transmute tree
(start with UR +2 Axe of the Mists - two handed weapon that can be thrown. Extra dmg against undead)
Relic: +3 Axe of Sharpness - Max dmg on crit, expanded crit range
Legendary: +5 Vorpal Axe - Nat 20 beheads opponent killing creatures that need a head to survive (plus prior listed abilities)

Cleric item - shield
Transmute tree
(starts with UR +2 Shield of the Devout: grants +5 to turning damage - stacks with all other turn bonuses)
Relic: +3 Shield of the Devout: If killed, the cleric returns to life with half hp (rounded down) 1/run
Legendary: +5 shield of the Old Gods: As relic plus: a successful turning skill check prevents all turned creatures from attacking for 1 round as the recoil in fear)(likely some exceptions built in on this)

I like the idea of a big 2H sword for this theme. Likely something silver or with some kind of cursed type effect that goes away as you progress to Legendary. For effects I would like to see a replacement for the Deathcleaver, but maybe less damage and add extra hit per tier over the Deathcleaver. (+3,+4,+6) with an added Strength requirement to use.

I would also like to see some kind of head piece transmute like a crown or cowl. (Thrall's Circlet, Vampire Coronet, Vampire Lords Crown). As for an effect, just tossing ideas but something like UR (+saves) + Relic((immunity to charm/fear/sleep) + Legendary (1/room physic blast as standard action)

Love it!

Most of the committed players around here *cough* self included *cough* are geared up more towards combat than puzzles... it would be cool to see some sort of equipment to support the Puzzle game.
(I know Jeff has said in the past that he doesn't want to mitigate Eldritch / puzzle damage, so this is a nice way to offset it, with healing.)

As an alternative to reprinting +2 Assassin's Crossbow:

+2 Deadshot's Crossbow, part of Deadshot set (see note for bonus effect idea)
+3 Deadshot's Crossbow of Sniping, part of Deadshot set, x3 damage on natural 20s
+5 Deadshot's Crossbow of Assassination, part of Deadshot set, x3 damage on all crits
Only usable by bards, rogues, rangers, fighters
D10 Damage Wheel

Note: Add a 4 Piece deadshot bonus maybe, either +2 to hit or +2 damage, or if TPTB don't wish to add to set bonuses, give the Crossbow just a extra +2 to hit than it otherwise would have to fit with set theme

I would like to suggest adding the treasure enhancing Nugget Ioun Stones as a timeless UR transmute. It would give newer players an avenue towards getting full treasure without using up a slot for normal TE progression.

Beyond that, I would like to see the spiritual companion to the Tankard of Celebration :

Tankard of Hangovers
Heal 1 hp when party Initiative is a natural "1" but must say "!Ah-ohw" to activate.

This would be a 4C (UR+ level transmute)
Lantern of Second Chances : Acts as a copy of any 1 UR TE you do not have equipped. So for example if you used it as Lantern of Second Chances(Silver Nugget) it would grant you +2 treasure and prevent you from equipping a silver nugget.

Make it a "Scythe of Slaying" Transmute line and I'm in. But it has to be useable by more than just the heavy classes.
