Should the recipe for Safehold I UC require more Fleece than Safehold II UC? The recipe for Safehold 5 UC requires 2, 4 UC requires 3, 3 UC requires 4...

Great question, but in this case, the quantities shown for Golden Fleece are intentional. Of the Trade items, GF is by far the most difficult to acquire.

But if you really want the recipes to cost you more, when you send in your submission, include a check made out to "Cash" and write "for Druegar" in the memo field.
That's a joke, do not actually do that!

What sort of feedback on recipes has any impact?

The process comes across as one of editing typos where public comments on recipes doesn't relate to how they change through multiple iterations.

In general recipe costs have gone down. In some cases it was a small amount. The Safeholds saw quite a significant drop. Looking at my notes, SH 1 went from 725 tokens in the initial draft to 389 tokens in the final.

Of course, since we don't know what the goal is with recipes for such things as Safeholds, maybe having a SH2 + a Sidekick go for under $1k (if you already have a SH3) is completely intentional. Has nothing to do with "the chart", where the item at SH2 was supposed to be more costly than a SH2 and be comparable to the cost of a SH1, but it's easy enough for someone to say "ignore that table" and we can move on to just ignoring what's in these recipes.
