TOPIC: Quite the haul at Curse of Crimson Isle!

I try to get a bunch of tickets to treat a bunch of friends to a run of True Dungeon. I'm just a novice, and the friends who join me are either newbies or have only played once or twice. Two friends couldn't make it, so I went to the Fans of Gencon forum to see if anyone there would like to join us casual dungeon delvers, our treat.

A guy named Christopher responded and joined us and had a fantastic time. (We all did. Thanks to all the organizers.) At the end, at the treasure pull he got Widseth's Legendary Lute and a Wish Ring. He had no clue what good fortune had come his way, and he was ecstatic when the gentleman running the pull explained the rarity and fair market value of his treasure.

Christopher came up to me and asked, "I know you paid for my ticket, but is it OK if I keep these?"

"Absolutely, my friend. If you'll return to the True Dungeon, may these items serve you well."

It was an amazing time. A glorious time was had by all.

That’s Awesome!!! Yeah I had some really great new players who were really excited to learn new information about TD. A few of them got $100+ tokens and that definitely started a new addiction for them 🤣
Sleeping under the water, descending from the sky, lingering in the minds of the mortals.. I wait, I watch, I hunger...

Yes, it was an excellent moment to be involved with. I was the Treasure guy when he pulled them. He only had four treasure pulls and he pulled the “Wish Ring” on his second pull and I got super excited for him, then he pulled the one “Legendary” in the box next. And the whole party exploded with excitement as I slowly revealed and informed them of the token. I love moments like this as I handout treasure.
