TOPIC: Once again they did it -- a well deserved Thank You

Thank you and a huge shout out to Lori, Jeff, John, Druegar, Troy, the NPC's, Golems, DM's, Innkeepers, Coaches, Volunteer Coordinators, and anyone else working on VTD 24 Desert Knights: Underworld Odyssey. You knocked it out of the park by providing a very enjoyable episode for the adventurers.

Once again the puzzles were amazing. Intricate and challenging but solvable. References to all the Egyptian Gods--their likes and images as well as other traits was appreciated. A wonderful group of puzzles to end the spring VTD season and lead into GenCon.

The combats had very interesting foes with a nice balance of toughness and surprise elements. The commentary from our DM's, Jessica and Zach during the battles was colorful and made the combats fun for each of the adventurers as the hits or misses were described.

A special thank you to Darr Shamean. Her commentary throughout was delivered in a very pleasing voice which projected a kind soul but demanding excellence from the adventurers in order to secure the Tear of Creation. She was quite exhuberant in her presentation.

True Dungeon delivered a very fun and pleasing experience for the adventurers. A great escape from the mundane weekly work reality was had by all.

I am very interested in seeing how this storyline progresses into the event at GenCon.

I whole heartedly agree! Thank you! The puzzles were engaging and solvable and the combats were varied with some interesting twists. Our DM, Amorgen, did an excellent job with the temple cat, allowing us to amuse it even though it was sure we pitiful mortals were sure to perish at any moment for our intrusion into the Duat. This was a nice touch to fill the time when we would finish a puzzle early. Everyone did a great job!

Thanks all for the nice words. The TD Staff and volunteers keep kicking butt. A big thanks to them!

We will see y'all in September. It will take place immediately after the events of "The Temple of the Dune Viper" at Gen Con. You probably should have left that old tome alone...

This was a fun wrap-up to the VTD 2023-24 series, and it was nice to be able to choose our final room (Combat/ puzzle)!

Thank you to all the TD Vols who did a great job over the weekend, and the many events previous!

Looking forward to seeing ya all in person someday soon-ish!
