I did two runs and we didn't solve it either time.

Didn't solve it until Saturday (5th run overall), but eventually got it.

In the Sunday 6:48 group we managed to solve it, but with some hints from someone in the party that had solved it earlier. Overall I liked the puzzle, but I can see why it would be hard - it felt about right for a room 6 puzzle in terms of difficulty. It was also a puzzle where the rogue clue was both cryptic and very helpful.

Figured it out the first run in the literal last seconds of the room.

My Friday group failed on the 1st and 3rd puzzle, but on Saturday we completed all of them. On the 3rd puzzle, one of the group randomly had a crazy idea and ended up completing it near right away. The rest of us had no idea and thought, hey! Why not. When he successfully completed it we all were laughing that we all missed it and were glad not to get the negative buff going into room 7 ( Though as a Paladin, I was immune 😂 ) What was unfortunate is that on this same run, we were on an Epic double down, and on Epic, the Curse was not avoidable. Though, after my final run on Sunday, I spoke with the DM and on NM you have to roll a Nat 20 on a Fortitude Save in order to not be Cursed so we didn’t feel as bad. I couldn’t understand how on a 18 and 19 with + 27 to my Fortitude… I was still being Cursed. It was a lot of fun!!! That same final run on Sunday ( was a NM run with 9 / 10 ) we were fighting in RM 7, running out of time… our Rouge got a Sneak Crit for 110 damage, and decided to re-roll. I vocally said “no no no” but alas, too late. They re-rolled for a 315 Sneak Crit and I told them I would never doubt there abilities again 😂😂 This months VTD was a really good one!

Was with Orion group. The letters on the squares were misleading to me.

I’d appreciate it if someone would post the solution in spoiler tags. Our group felt like we were close - but we might have been barking up the wrong tree.

Our group figured it out in the last few seconds, but perhaps in a round-about way.

It was actually the main clue, not the puzzle itself, which got us to the answer.

I thought it was actually a very good puzzle, as it could be solved a couple ways... and also one of the only ones recently where I found the Rogue clue to be enigmatically helpful!

I'm definitely curious what the solve rate was. And, I'm even more curious how many teams solved it on their first run (which is really the only fair measure of difficulty). Sounds like a lot of teams solved it because somebody on the run had already solved it. That's one reason I really prefer the puzzles (especially on VTD) where the solution changes (at least a little) from day to day.

I thought the Room 6 puzzle was a clever idea. I think it was missing something in the execution, though.
