TOPIC: VTD 17 Sat 6pm NM - Conan Run! (2 slots open)

Proud Cimmerians' re-unite to take on the evils that haunt the tomb. This nightmare difficulty themed run has all classes refraining from using spells or scrolls. Special abilities can be used as long as you can justify them not being magic. For example, paladin lay on hands is just like Mr. Miagi. Making a cross with 2 sticks to turn undead is your basic turn undead. Druids are just cursed to assume other forms, etc..

Magic? We don't need no stinking magic! (Wait, might have franchises mixed there but you get the point.)

Our monk won't be able to join us. He'll be flying back from Europe at the same time we're on the run.

My wife and I would like to join. She would like to play the human Fighter. I'd like to play Bard if you're willing to allow that Sonic Dart is just flavored as me shouting at the enemies incredibly loudly otherwise I will play Ranger.

We count all spells as spells for the theme. Using guns is ok but casting spells if verbotten. Powers are ok if they can be explained as non-spells (like mr miagi healing touch for paladin.)

That's fair. After further thought, I'd be cool with playing Bard as long as Bardsong is still usable - I do have a hammer I can smack things with/throw.

Inspiring people to hut harder through music is a time honored tradition. Any NFL stadium playing “we will rock you” can attest to that!
