We have pushed the Bead Belts back to another year. Not much has changed. Lots of folks have expressed the want for a Sundering effect on the sword, but for a lot of reasons that is not a good way to go.

Thanks for your feedback...it really is much appreciated.

The sword doesn't need sundering but the 19-20 crit expansion should be changed for a different power. It is likely most fights who make this already have their legendary class neck that provides the same power already.

Transmuted tokens look great! Thank you for taking time to respond to people.

I would like to suggest perhaps having the expanded crit range of Viv's and Kilgor's stack if we can't add another effect, allowing fighters who have both equipped to have a crit range of 18-20

Another possible effect could be a life steal effect similar to that of Drow Blood Mace.

On Kilgor's, Same questions from the UR side. Are you planning on resetting the general balance between 1H and 2H weapons? In either case, I'll +1 to swapping the power to something different. HP steal like the drow blood mace would be nice.

Will the +2 Sundering Cestus be reworked then? If sundering is not an option for future tokens, but the old UR is not going to change, I'll track down the old UR for my group.

Thanks, Jeff!

Maybe replace the Relic/Legendary Beads that were deleted with a Relic/Legendary path for the Bead of Shared Recovery? A regeneration Relic/Legendary bead would be a fun build choice. :)

Thanks,
Mike

I really like the 3 and 4 star transmutes in this, thanks Jeff.

Bead of Horus might be better at 4*, given it’s basically a twist on the UR bead of Focus.

Lenses of sage sight might be better at 3* given it’s a twist on the UR tome of useful scrolls (its slotted and limited to common and uncommon scrolls.)

The 3* and 4* tokens are all really cool. I will be downing Potion Zealot's Brew in room 7. I also think it's great that Fighters were added to Brumel's.

I agree with others that copying an effect from Viv's doesn't feel great for Savage Sword line. I have two suggestions:

1) Expand the crit bonus for each class. "Fighter Crits on 18-20 & Dwarf 3x Crits on 19-20" Or,

2) Parallel the Biting Bow design by adding "Adds 1/2 melee AC to dmg" (adding caps to the UR and relic versions.) I estimate Fighter AC at the high levels of play to be about 40-50, unless they dump AC entirely for other bonuses. This rewards players for building a balanced character. You could theoretically build up to almost 80 AC, but with such abysmal stats you would basically need to land 20s on your attacks to hit at NM+. The theme of the sword probably needs to change too, maybe Stalwart Sword?

With either proposal, the damage wheel would definitely need to be adjusted down. I'm not sure what the exact numbers should be, but I hope that they're worth considering!

Instead of Adding half total AC (that could be tricky to mange long term), you could have it be tied to shield AC - a hybrid between my suggestion and yours? UR could cap at 3, Relic at 5, and Legendary just adds shield AC to damage?

I'm a bit torn on this actually. I disagree that Bead of Horus is basically a twist on Bead of Focus, since it doesn't include:
- Healing
- Turning damage
- Polymorph damage

There's a perspective where Bead of Horus is an advertisement for the transmute system. Keeping it as a 3* (with commensurate cost) provides that on ramp with a good chase token.

Also, people who start to have the trade goods to make 4* tokens also have the scrolls to burn on the lenses. I see the power level side of things, but I think the externalities make me like these where they are.

+1 to this.
Making a class specific weapon where the ability stacks with the class specific neck is the pervue of the department of redundancy department.
