Thank you all for your amazing support and help with crafting the 2023 tokens. You all did great, and I am very appreciative of your aid. Please take a look and give me your feedback, please.

On the last update for the UR Boots, “the” was dropped from “50% miss chance for Incorporeal,” but on the Relic and Legendary, “the” is still in the description.

How often does the legendary bead auto pass tests? Is it all tests?

A one point bump at legendary seems low personally

Thoughts on the Bead Powers. On the Relic, even the 1/Room would mean Rogue Box and Bardic Knowledge would always be successful, since those tests are once a room anyway. On the Legendary, auto passing everything seems very helpful to all casters, but I guess at Legendary Class it should be.

Question, on the transmutes, is there anything that could be incorporated to help the classes that don’t have skill checks to make the transmutes more appealing to more classes?

I wonder about restricting the Beads to only allow the spellcaster classes to auto-pass skill checks.

I know that using it is optional, but giving Rogues and Bards the ability to never need to make any skill checks seems like it will remove an interesting part of TD.

For the Boots, I understand from a thematic point of view why it's not usable by Monks and Wizards, but perhaps this restriction could be removed as it'd be nice if they were not left out from having a Legendary recipe available for the feet slot for those who do not have Boots of the Four Winds?
I play Rogue. Occasionally I even play Rogue well.

Technically, the other classes do have a Skill Test if you look at their class cards. It is the combat slide. So apparently Fighters, Barbarians, etc now auto-hit their slides. Combat will be so much faster now! ;)

I'd actually argue in the other direction. As the AC is the only component that changes, remove Wizards, Monks, Bards, Druids, Rogues, and Rangers from the Legendary, and remove Wizards and Monks from the Relic.

Jeff, for the Legendary Bead, maybe you don't need "untried". Since they can auto pass everything, maybe there's no harm in letting them attempt the skill test if they want and then auto passing if they fail. The end result is the same. :)

I like that the top AC on the Boots isn't available to Monks or Wizards, since low AC is a balancing factor for them.

If only AC actually mattered.

Honestly though, I really do appreciate all the work the team is doing, and want to say thank you for doing a thankless job, listening to all of us gripe over and over.

I do worry about the other comment, that taking away skill tests will remove some of the differences of the classes.

What if instead passing skill tests gave double the boon? Would that be too much?

I agree with Fiddy, dropping the greaves class options as they go up. Also, any chance these can join the redoubt set? Death Knight?

That bead! The legendary bead! It will have a more 2019, recipie than a 2014 recipie right? Bards and rogues fully benefit at relic level, casters partially benefit and fully benefit at legendary level.

Legendary boots are a clear out of the question, relic boots are still quite valid for monk/wizard and it is a hard question (without the eldritch boots. Raven I did your thing instead of boots of the four seasons, it does work nicely and I think I can remember it). 2 con and 1/3 a level and 4 ac and some effects is a trade requiring contemplation. Again, the recipie and it’s “will be more like older transmutes” will determine likelihood.

I’m okay with “Arcanum Shirt” since it follows the rules about sets, despite “lordly shirt of the arcanum” or “poet shirt of the arcanum” being also in theme and fun. It would probably get shortened to “arcanum shirt” anyway. Still love the purple, so beautiful!

That bead! Thanks again to listening to feedback and involving us in the process.

Sorry for the long nested quotes, I’ll try to fix later.

The double boon from silk check is AWESOME!

It helps scale for difficulty even if we get better skill checks with new cards. It doesn’t prevent cool skill checks on new cards. Rogue could even get clue and treasure as the bonus (sorry Libram of looting).

I hate to see skill tests effectively going away, but I guess it makes it easier for veterans to pick up the bard when the slot hasn’t been filled. I also see this as an ability that will need to be periodically reprinted as the URs that the bead is based on become harder to find.
