TOPIC: Gamehole Con Exclusive XP?

I know there was a thread on this, but I wasn't sure if it was ever answered. Is the XP from the two adventures at Gamehole Con exclusive to it, or will people be able to get XP for those adventures from online adventures, a future GENCON, etc?

Gamehole Con now has the housing block open, so it would be great to get an answer to that question, as it will affect whether or not I attend Gamehole Con. I'm guessing there are other people in a similar situation.

If this has been answered and I missed it, if someone can post a link to that answer I'd appreciate it.

Housing is open and finding a spot was hard enough when there was a Gencon happening (I had to split my weekend to fit in). I wish anyone without a hotel the best of luck.

I made a hotel reservation today, I got three days in the housing block and the rest outside of it. I hadn't realized for Gamehole Con you could reserve a housing block hotel before you bought your badge, or I'd have done it earlier.

I am hoping to get to volunteer for GHC and get to do one or two runs. If the XP counts, it will be even better, as going from lv9 to lv10 is a grind

I know Felurian’s Feast will be a VTD. I don’t know about the other. I would guess it will be available elsewhere.

I did read that Gamehole Con is planning to mandate vaccines, but not require masks (not locked in stone yet, but that's the current plan). Not having to wear a mask makes me much more likely to want to attend.

I've gotten used to masks and intend to work them into some limited cosplay I just got in a great mask that looks like a bird beak that opens and closes as I speak. Next is a Vader/Bane mask.

I am glad to hear they are requiring vaccinations. If nothing else it makes for a good reward for the people who have been responsible. Hopefully, we won't be dealing with another set of outbreaks via variants by then where the masks become critical again.

Most excellent news. Still can’t go, but that is the right call, IMHO. Still hoping GC does that.

It's tough I want to take my son since he is 10 even for a day but vaccines are currently only 12 and up and not sure when they will have one for younger kids.

I was hoping he could get vaccinated over the summer but not sure when they are going to lower the age more.

Yeah, we've already decided that we aren't taking kids to any large event this year (maybe December will be an option).

Most optimistic estimate I've heard for kids is September...but even then, you have to get signed up, wait for 2nd shot, AND THEN another 2 weeks for safety. So, gamehole con probably a no go for kids.

I’m completely with you there.

The most recent news is that Pfizer’s trials for kids 5-12 and 6m to 5 are going well and they should have results by the end of the summer. Maybe August for potential EUA? Still means 5 weeks from shot 1 to full protection so best case is mid-September but I wouldn’t bet on it.
