Please try to post your thoughts about the linked Relics and Legendaries in the same post. There is new stuff to debate! Thanks for the good feedback. Be sure to see how they now work with other URs in 2021.

Great changes to the cleric relic (and UR). That progression up to the legendary now makes complete sense. I don't think you'll be getting many complaints about anything on it now!

New power on Fighter Legendary is a watered down version of Fight After Death. Its a Barbarian theme.

I honestly can't remember the last time I died prior to Room 7. This is extremely situational.

If we are going to move away from expanded crit, I like the so called "swift strike" better.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

I guess that is one way to encourage high-powered Fighters to play Grind...

Other than having to give up Charm Necklace and a Charm slot? ;)

Haha yeah if you were using Charm Necklace (I didn't play back then so I don't have one) you have a net loss of four charms for the legendary/relic. Honestly probably still worth it. I can't think of a combination of four charms that can equal what it does.

Jeff, you should probably post the definition of Divine Intervention. It was last seen in L&L.

Might want to post Whirlwind too, just to make sure we're arguing about the right things.

But if thats what it takes to keep the stats where they are, I'll take it.

I just hope future Dungeon design make Whirlwind more relevant that recent history would suggest. Otherwise we have two very situational abilities. I might wait to make it until I see if it actually comes into play with any regularity.

Having said that, since I use Thor's losing the expanded crit is absolutely no skin off my nose.

I don’t understand the direction of the Fighter legendary. I don’t know what even to say...

I’ll be in the corner rocking myself until the next iteration.

Oh, I'll probably be doing it. But it is tough, especially with Charm Bracelets also a tough spot for Clerics to use.
