Thanks for your patience. The completed Skull does imbue Psychic Ability and grants all Tiers up to level 8.

Also, we are going to treat the Teeth and Skull like we did with the Rod of Seven Parts. So...like you can't equip any Rod Segments AND a completed Rod of 7 Parts, you cannot use any of the individual Teeth (and thus the Semi-Lich Skull) AND the completed Skull of Cavadar. The Semi-Lich Skull was provided to give folks with less than all 7 Teeth a benefit for having some of them.

Note: Like the Rod of 7 Parts, the Skull of Cavadar will also grant access to the Eldritch Sub-Classes. The other benefit is going to be the cool event in 2022. When you get your completed Skull token, you will also get a unique code that will allow you to purchase (for $1) a ticket at www.td.events to the cool event (whenever it happens). If you don't want to attend (or can't) you can give away or sell that code.

I think this is just right.

Edit: I can see people asking next if the grant of subclasses stacks with ROSP. I think the answer should be yes.

Generally, I'm fine with this. it's along the lines of what I expected. I'm just wondering if in certain builds the semi-lich skull and added HP might be a better choice. You do get some added eldritch set benefits going with the transmuted skull. And of course you'll want it to participate in the upcoming event. But afterwards, it does feel somewhat like a tossup.

Excellent. So if we have a Rod and a Skull we will have access to the sub classes twice per year?

I'm only mildly disappointed that they are not Dentures of Power. :)
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

For clarification on this thread...will this skull be considered Eldritch for "set" purposes?

So excited to be able to access the subclasses. I came in after Ro7p and could never afford it

Looks good to me now. Eldritch classes being added feels right.

The sets thread and tokendb both say yes.

Same. I started playing in 2014 and just can’t justify paying $$$$ for a RoSP. My build is finally looking pretty good, but there are other builds in my guild that need help, and there are always new tokens to acquire. I’m viewing this as a reward for starting to pre-order more tokens in recent years, and for going back to pick up Teeth 1-3 in 2018. Yay!
