This is the place to put notes about the Fighter Relic and Legendary. Regarding the Fighter's big bonus to Reflex saves (which equals their shield's total AC bonus)...this is meant to represent the fighter using his shield against a dragonfire blast or wizard's lightning bolt.

Whirlwind Attack: If you hit one monster in the room with a melee attack, and another monster is also in melee range, the same amount of damage will be done to the second monster automatically.

No idea what Fighters think of their current reflex save values but using a shield to aid against reflex save hazards is a cool theme.

Relic is:

You get to equip (arguably) two best neck slot items, +1 STR, Something something shield AC who cares.

Pretty good!

The jump between Relic and Legendary seems bigger than it is for most of these.

Critical expanded range does nothing for Thor's users.

Maybe:

Upgraded Crit for 1 handed weapons (e.g. 3x for fighters, 4x for DF)
Expanded crit range for 2 handed weapons

?

It feels a bit odd to me that legendary Fighters will now have higher strength than Barbarians.

Maybe change the +7 STR to +4 to hit +3 to damage in Melee.

For Thor’s wielders the only thing the legendary adds is whirlwind. If there are going to be a lot more rooms with multiple foes, whirlwind is great. The legendary is a big step down from previously proposed versions if you inclined to argue against this version as OP.

The relic is awesome and a must have. The stats are just what was wanted in discussions prior to the start of the design process. Although I could see the relic adding 5 STR and the Legendary 7 to differentiate them more. The added reflex save is a big improvement over the previously proposed doubling of shield AC. Somewhere it should be clarified what the bonus is if you are using different shields in the melee and ranged offhands.

Is Stupendous now the UR in the Relic recipe? IF so, I am assuming previous editions will be accepted in the recipe.

Critical expanded range does nothing for Thor's users. As a Thor’s user I think I can live with that. We are trading Melee damage for ranged to hit and damage. YMMV.

STR is just one number. Will Fighters be able to outdamage the Barbarians? If not, leave it as it is please.

Crit range and crit multiplier are overpowered. Recommend legendary have a crit range of 19-20 at best and no increased in multiplier.

I for one LOVE the new design!

Stats? Check!
Saves? Double check!
Cool keyword? Hell yeah!

The ONLY thing not stellar is the crit range as a Thor user but I can't complain about the rest of the package!

What shows up for me is a crit range wider than Thors being applies to all weapons and dwarf fighter being able to get 4x on a crit of 20.

For me a crit range of 19-20 for all weapons without any stat minimum, whirlwind attack most likely to be used in grinds, and max crit of x3 to avoid dwarf fighter x4 is very powerful.

And that means you're seeing the wrong version. The version of the Legendary currently up just gives Whirlwind and criticals on 19-20".

Don't use Jeff's broken link. Use Graven's in post 2.
