TOPIC: Who bought tickets?

I know everyone here is focused on GenCon, but I'm wondering who bought out runs for West. Anybody buy multiple runs? I'm volunteering and won't be able to play, but the Enforcers are hoping to get in somewhere, and there are only 4 tickets available, and no LFM runs listed yet.

I’m honestly not expecting any groups to post for Pax. I started an index on the off chance, but with it being announced so late, I think all the forumites made their TD plans for the year already. Also, since this is the first year there, I suspect the vast majority of players are going to be new, and therefore don’t know about the forums.

Heya!

I didn't buy out any runs because I figured I wouldn't be able to fill them up with forumites, and I also wanted to run with hopefully the newer PAX West people so that I can help spread the love of True Dungeon. I love running with new people who haven't played before, so it should be a lot of fun!

But I did buy myself a ticket for the below runs. If anyone is on any of these runs, or if a ticket opens up and you get on the same run, please let me know.

Two things going on there - Since nobody has posted a thread for Pax West, I didn't think it was important to keep the index updated just for the ticket counts. Second, when I copied the template from the Gen Con index, I forgot to update the urls for the ticket links. It should be fixed and up to date now.

I'm in a similar boat. Finally got a chance to bring my friends to experience TD at a local con but I missed the ticket sales. Doh! Hopefully I can catch something open up or hang out and wait for someone to miss their event.

Yeah all the tickets got snapped up but whoever they are, they aren't posting here, on PAX website or the Enforcer forum. Bring your friends to the demo!

I bought tickets for my son and I on Sunday at 1 PM. We have never done this before. Is there any place I can look for pointers?

First of all, welcome to the Forums and the game.
Definitely read the players handbook. It’s not too long and full of great information. Any type of specific questions you have post here for answers.

I'm part of a group of 5 on Sunday at 10:12am - not sure who the other 5 will be, but am excited to go adventuring with them. We're all doing this for the first time and will be checking out the players handbook and character cards prior to our run. Please feel free to share any other tidbits you think would be helpful to know or do beforehand.

First, welcome! You've found a great game, and greater group of people.

Second, you don't need any additional tokens to have a good time.

Third, be flexible, and patient. It sounds like many people will be playing for the first time.

Other than that, enjoy the ride. Each character can do lots of different, cool things, but the most important thing is to work as a team in the dungeon.

I appreciate the welcome and your advice! I'm about halfway through the player handbook and am a little dizzy from all the character choices, but excited to try whichever one I end up selecting/getting. Hopefully and returning players (if paired with my group) will be patient and flexible with us as well.
