TOPIC: Team Synergy GenCon 2019 Planning/Schedule!

Hi, everyone! I’ve gotten a bit of a late start to get the word out about Team Synergy runs at GenCon this year; apologies to those that were concerned! Here’s the ‘schedule of events’ to help to coordinate activities this year:

April 28, 2019: 2019 Team Synergy email sent to all past participants with participant survey
May 9 11, 2019: Participant surveys due (required to be included in initial rosters on forums) (Extended deadline to allow volunteers to respond after schedules are released!)
May 12, 2019: Tentative GenCon run rosters posted on forums (pending ticket purchases)
May 19, 2019: GenCon Event tickets on sale
May 20, 2019: Final GenCon run rosters posted on forums
June 12-16, 2019: Origins 2019*
August 1-4, 2019: GenCon!

*I am looking at whether I can attend Origins this year. Although Harlax is unable to attend this year, I know that there’s already been some other Team Synergy planning, so I won’t be covering those events here.

If anyone is interested in joining us for these runs, but hasn't done so before, please send me a PM with your e-mail address; I'll include you on the distribution for the participant survey.

I’m planning to sponsor all runs this year. That said—I’m always looking for help in grabbing tickets when they’re up for sale. I’m hoping to do at least four regular runs and a True Grind run again this year; if we want/need more than that, I may ask for help in leading additional runs (as Harlax and others have done in the past).

If anyone has any questions or feedback, please let me know! I’m looking forward to yet another great year with Team Synergy!

I’m a full time volunteer again. I requested day shift Trainer or Coach, so my run times would need to be mid afternoon or later. Assuming my schedule is as requested.

Aennlan is not volunteering so he is wide open.

I looked at my email, survey hasn't hit yet. Anyway I am good for Gencon and multiple runs...Looking forward to seeing everyone. I was looking at a place that does pins and thought it might be cool to see if we could get Team Synergy pins made if there is any interest?

It appears that the first wave of volunteer schedules will come out May 10.

Might want to hold that survey open a bit longer. Or those of affected could just post here.

Volunteers can wait until the 11th to respond. I’m traveling for work the next week but should still be able to get the initial rosters completed on the 12th.
