TOPIC: Shout Out to our Sage

Had to make an account to give a shout out to our E2 Sage (Time slot: 10:01 AM on Friday). It was our first ever GenCon, and our first True Dungeon. After a disappointing E1, our sage really sold the experience and made E2 our favorite of the three. She was just the right mix of in-character and cheering us on plus some tongue-in-cheek joking around while we were standing around waiting. I literally didn't realize she was the same character as the guy we met at the end of E1, who was super low energy.

Other shout-outs: the Valkyrie on the Rainbow Bridge in Odin's Redux (Saturday 10:15 PM) was a good blend of arrogant nobility and subtly laughing at our jokes; the Lich in Redux who reacted to every hit and miss we dealt out to him, the Lamia in E2 who whipped out the two swords and made our group gasp in surprise and really leaned into the snake hissing ("boo hiss!"), and the blighted moss creature in E2 who was squeakily asking for healing and collapsing over and over again until we burned it with a lantern.
