Very sad news...told from a True Dungeon related perspective:

We are heartbroken to report the passing of my first Dungeon Master. Without his efforts to completely mesmerize me into the world of Dungeons and Dragons, there would have never been a True Dungeon. I would have probably pursued my interests in wrestling and football in high school, and I would have never become a complete D&D nerd.

I will never forget his first D&D adventure under a certain ruin tower, nor my character’s glorious death at the hands of a goblin guard. He was very generous to run this annoying, snot-nose kid through a D&D adventure in such a marvelous fashion. This first introduction to D&D changed my life is so many positive ways.

If you have an occasion to do so, please raise a glass to the memory of my brother, Greg Martin – and all the True Dungeon fun he brought to our lives.

Deepest sympathy and condolences from Jen and I. So very sorry for your family’s loss. So glad he brought such wonder and joy into your life.

They say that the best weapon is the one you never have to use. I respectfully disagree. I prefer the weapon you only have to use once! Oh - and if you really need to think about whether you're going to use the fireball or the + umpty staff of butt-whooping - you're likely to find yourself full of arrows, or fangs, or nasty knives & swords and such. Don't think - just shoot!
