TOPIC: FREE Origins runs for no loot sign up thread

A thread was started for GenCon where players can sign up for runs at no cost but they don’t keep the loot (they would keep the xo codes and pins). This thread copies that concept for Origins. Please post any runs where you would allow players to join for free your runs in exchange for the loot or if you are players looking for free runs.

I have two runs that players can join for free in exchange for the loot (I am also open to just selling the tickets and letting the players keep the loot but there haven’t been many takers since a good deal of Origins tickets are still available):

Any players must agree to play at, at least, hardcore, if not nightmare difficulty:

Dance - Combat - 3 tickets available - thursday 413p

We have 2 players well equipped for nightmare level with the ability to help equip others - we are planning hardcore or nightmare.

Fred, I'm surprised nobody is taking you up on this. Maybe the people most likely to do this aren't on these forums, since forumites are much more likely to have their own Treasure Enhancing tokens. Maybe you could post something similar on Origins forums (I'm assuming there are Origins forums).

Hopefully you will have better luck with GENCON since tickets are sold out there.

I would go on the run is just for fun but I already have events booked at that time. Origins is my role playing convention so I’m quite busy with RPG’s

Alas, there are no Origins forums and their Facebook page doesn't allow public posts. I dumped the N1 run and jumped into Trent's a few minutes later. I still have the Dance - Combat one, though.

Got a run for Saturday (Stones combat 4:13) for my sorta-newbie daughter and five of her friends. We have two tickets left (monk, Wizard, druid, and one of the fighters are unclaimed.)

We’re running Normal with some prebuilt characters. I’m playing maxed-out emergency combat medic Cleric, but I’m not going to do much otherwise so as not to overwhelm them, unless they get themselves into trouble and scream for help. (I’m looking at you, room seven...)

If you’re a newbie, or a veteran who wants to help mentor this rabble, let me know. Especially if you have a CoS to lend (I’m short two until GC.) We’re doing almost full loot, so if
you want to play free, just give me the goods. If you want to build your own kit, don’t use any URs. Maybe keep it mostly green. Or use what I built (I’ll send the lists.)

The runs I posted are now unavailable. Other runs mentioned in this thread appear to still be available so I encourage people to take advantage of the opportunity!
