TOPIC: Advice on selling expensive token

Hello, my daughter pulled a Craven’s Vampire Ring at Gen Con this year. She’d like to sell it to help pay for college. I’ve never sold tokens, so I’m not sure the best path here. What are the typical ways higher value tokens get sold? Any other general advice when selling like this? Thanks in advance!

Two good options.

1. Put it on consignment at TrentTokens. Downside: the site takes a fee. Upside: known reputable highly visible source.

2. List it here and on Discord and sell private party.

Congrats to your daughter! The main ways to sell a token these days are:

1. Post it here, on the Fans of True Dungeon Facebook page, and perhaps post a link to your post here in the unofficial TD Discord group.

2. Place it for consignment with Trent Tokens.

Each has advantages and disadvantages. Payment via PayPal friends and family is standard in a private sale. Be clear about whether you will insure the package if shipping the token (on request, does buyer pay for insurance)?
