TOPIC: Read this if you're going on a GT run this year

All the slots for Golden Ticket runs at Gen Con 2024 have been claimed.

However...
Not all of the GT tokens have been sent in to TDHQ. This step is not optional. If we do not receive your Golden Ticket token by July 15, your claim on your spot will be revoked. As clearly spelled out in this post, emailing me to claim your spot is only the first step in your Golden Ticket claim. You are also required to register your token on this page and send the token to TDHQ. Again, we must receive your GT token on or before July 15th. Do not wait until July 15th to send it in.

If you were planning on just showing up at Local Oil Stadium on Wednesday night with your unregistered GT in hand, you won't even be able to get into the building, let alone go on the run. This is not hyperbole.

If you have already fully registered and sent in your GT token, you can ignore this post. You don't need to email/PM me to tell me you've already sent it in.

If you're like me and nervous about whether your GT was officially registered and received, you can go into your account Order History. In your order history, you should see an order with the words "Golden Ticket Received".

Bumping since GT receipt cutoff is in the first message of this thread for Gencon 2024.

....and if your name appears on the sign-up thread, but you don't have a listing in your order history, are you okay or should you send up a flare? Asking for my buddy Tim Wilaby, GHC 1:12?

Will be interesting if anyonne did not get their GT in by today for GenCon GT runs.

Will there be a fixed amount of treasure awarded for the Golden Ticket runs (meaning we do not need to equip treasure enhancers) or will it operate as a normal run (treasure depends upon treasure enhancers)?

Good question. I want to say last year it was fixed treasure handed out before the run, but in prior years you needed to equip treasure enhancers. It would be good to know before the run.

Yes, last year it was fixed and before that it wasn't. I'm working on updating my builds for Gen Con and I am hoping to know ASAP so I know if I need to create TE-free builds.

For Golden Ticket runs at both Gen Con 2024 and Gamehole Con 2024:

• No Treasure Enhancers may be equipped.
• All players are going to receive 25 Treasure at the end of their run.
• Your player level does not affect the amount of Treasure you earn.
  You may don whatever Level Reward(s) you have earned, but none of them affect the amount of Treasure you get.
• If you are in possession of a Badge of Nobility and have earned the right to use it, you may use it to bump up your AC, but it won't affect the amount of Treasure you receive.

Again, these are in reference to players on 2024 Golden Ticket runs only.
