We have launched a new website aimed at making it easier for you to volunteer for one or more conventions that True Dungeon will be attending. Once you have made your volunteer profile, you can then apply to volunteer to specific Cons. Your profile info is kept with your account, so you don't have to re-enter the data every time to apply to volunteer at a Con. Plus, if something should change before we close the window for applying to a specific Con, you can edit your application to switch your time or position commitments.

True Dungeon NEEDS YOU! True Dungeon is one of the coolest and biggest events in gaming history, and we can only pull it off with the help of some amazing volunteers like you. Not only is being a volunteer for True Dungeon a bunch of fun, it also has some nice perks.

Three Benefit Highlights

Volunteers Receive a Stipend to Help Cover Con Expenses

Depending on the position you fill, you will receive a check at the end of the convention for up to $250 to help defray your Con expenses.

Volunteers Get a FREE limited-edition token!

Full-time volunteers will receive a free Ultra Rare, limited-edition, volunteer-exclusive token at the end of their shift on Sunday! Part-time volunteers will receive a slightly less powerful Rare version of the same token! These are cool items, and they should be a big hit with collectors.

Full-Time Volunteers Get a Spot in an Adjacent Hotel

All full-time volunteers get a spot in a 4-person hotel room near the True Dungeon event & the convention. This is a really nice benefit since those hotel rooms are very hard to come by.

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Mine is in for Gen Con.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

By the way, Mike and Jenn Naglee (and Lori Martin) did an awesome job on the new volunteer website!

I submitted mine for Origins. It's my first time at Origins and volunteering, so I asked for part time. So excited!

I put in my volunteer request for origins. Booked my own hotel room so no one has to deal with my snoring. See you all there.

Hahah I also booked my own hotel, not so much because of my snoring, but... LOL

Hey, my own situation makes this difficult, but volunteering for TD at Gen Con gets a boost. The price hike in badges makes that perk more valuable and the new housing rules will make getting a downtown room just a little more interesting. No more transfers or trading of rooms. All room assignments will be unique to the badge holder who books the room.

Welcome change to the housing rules.

I'm afraid my son's group (AKA, the poor college students) may be priced out. I've subsidized their runs to this point, but the badge and hotel prices may have hit the point of no return for them.

If so, I'll have to promote Gamehole Con to them.
