What Brian said. I'm really looking into rolling up a Bard or a Ranged Ranger. I haven't practiced with double sliding, so I'm not confident that I'll do well.

Brian, glad you can be flexible. As you can see, we only have 4 people accounted for in our group so far. I'll put you down for fighter-type.

Aaron, if you decide on a Bard, Mike might be able to help you with a few items as he has a pretty good Bard build as a backup.

Do either of you have CoA or CoGF?

Somehow I managed to miss this thread when I bought tickets.

I have a nightmare-capable* Wizard/Elf that I'd prefer to play, and I can do hardcore as anything else. I have a CoA for myself, as well as an extra nugget and AoTF I can lend out. I also have a full set of lenses and cloaks if we don't have a URTE for everyone.


* NOTE: I mentioned difficulty only to say what I have the tokens for. I'm entirely OK with playing any difficulty the group decides on.

Welcome, Andrew! Glad we have a caster in the group.

My Fighter build and Mike's Rogue build are both Hardcore/NM worthy but since we don't get any benefit from running at a higher difficulty, I say we decide on-site and can better assess everyone's level.

Looks like we're in pretty good shape. Hopefully we can add a healer to round-out the group.

I don't have the practice/experience for it, but I could switch up to Druid or Cleric for heals. Paladin as well, depending on what Brian wants to do. I'm likely going to be better at memorizing symbols/images than beads.


As for gear capability, I might be able to handle NM, but definitely not HC.


This run will have me trying out some new class before Gen Con, to better help my group for Gen Con.

With so many spots still unaccounted for, go with what you want but it's good to know you're flexible.

With no benefit for running at harder difficulty, I don't see any reason to go HC...unless we absolutely mop the floor with our enemies on our Friday runs and there is no possibility of anyone being killed. (Which seems highly unlikely.)

I am on this run. I make an excellent pally with 40+ AC and guard two. But am willing to move to rogue, fighter, Bard, or barbarian if needed... I am willing to do any difficulty and can adjust tokens accordingly.

Oh, I also have a Charm of Avarice for myself and 10 charms of synergy if party is willing to use a charm slot up.

Thanks to everyone for checking-in! I've updated the list in the first post. If you gave more than one option, I went with the one that did not conflict with someone else's who did not give options so look it over.

Brian, as long as you're okay with Barbarian or Dwarf Fighter, the party is set! Here are some things to note...

1) We have no Cleric so bring your healing items. (Unless Aron wants to forgo the Bard.)

2) We are (2) CoGF or CoA away from the full 4 token bonus. If anyone has two extras of either they can bring to the run, please do. (From the latest messages, they seem to be cracking down on this and want to actually see them.)
