TOPIC: 10k XP in about 4 months

Was just thinking about this. If someone new runs HC/NM:

2k Beneath Castle Altus @ TDC (April)
2k Into the Deeperdark @ Origins (June)
2k Behold Her Majesty @ Origins (June)
2k Moongate Maze @ GC (Aug)
2k Dancing Among Stones @ GC (Aug)

= 10k and 5th Level / Medallion of Nobility in just over 4 months.

If someone actually pulls this off I will be impressed!

I thought XP was capped per year at 4K?

I think the forum has suggested that but to my knowledge nothing like that has ever been said by tptb.

I believe that was just an effective cap since all the dungeons for the year after gencon are versions of that gencon dungeon(with a couple exceptions), thus you can only get 4k xp from one gencon to the next.
Since TDC had a unique dungeon with xp available for new players, origins has the 2016 xp available, then gencon starts the new 2017 xp year.

Very true.

If you were a new player though you could have got XP from GHC, TDC and Origins all in the 2016 TD season. GC 2017 would start the new season for another 2k.
