TOPIC: URTE's in treasure room?

On Saturday, I wasn't asked to show my UTREs in the treasure room.

Was this policy being enforced during TDC?

I did it the first time on friday. The 2nd time I asked the person in the room if he recognized me, and he said yes. Perhaps it was that?

My group of 4 had about 200 pulls, and we pulled
Blessed Plate
Ring of heroism
Icecrag ear cuff
Redoubt helm x2
Boots of might
Lots of monster bits
Some small trade goods.
Plenty of UC and Rares, all 2016.

Would assume the same mix as GC.
Saw 3 URs in 19 pulls in one of our party members.

I agree it seemed hot and cold.

If you pulled 3 relics and 3 URs on 200 pulls then the mix was definitely better for you than the Gen Con mix!

Because he may have had a hot hand on 200 does not prove the mix was better. Need more data.

Our pulls were considerably less rich than these pulls, or than our GENCON pulls. Perhaps we were just less lucky this time around.

And, we were asked to show our Treasure Enhancing Tokens in the exit room both Friday and Saturday.

Jedi, your one run was the most ridiculous of the weekend.

I am trying to get my friends to give me everything, not just their good pulls. If they do I will add them to the spreadsheet. Mine are alredy on there.

On one of my runs a single player pulled 7URs and a 10K bar with their 18 pulls.

Heard of a total of 10URs being pulled, 10K bar and several 2.5K bars.

Out of over 100 pulls, I was fortuane to get a Greater Arcane Pouch, Enhanced Creeper Amulet, 13 monster bits, 2 mystic silk, 2 enhancer munitions and 4.6K in gold.

Believe i was asked once initially in coaching room and that was it this weekend. I know i had it on hand and offered to show my CoA. After all the concern leading into this i expected to have to show it first time, last time, every time through the dungeon.

Out of the three runs I did I was asked to show my TE's only one time in the coaching room and then again only once by the guy that was manning the treasure boxes. I was a bit surprised at this as I thought they would be more strict about it. I wish they had as i think it's a great policy.

Also, in the dungeon I played Rogue on two of the runs and whenever I failed the Rogue challenge and elected to use my +2 Rod of Persuasion and Libram the DM's always asked me to show them the two Tokens. Hat's off to them for that. Was happy to do so.

I'm pretty sure the guy in the treasure room was indeed checking for URTE's, even on people he had seen several times.

If you were on a run with a senior player, they probably went strait up to the desk and flashed 10 or more CoA's and 10 or more Silver Nuggets covering the entire party.

If your group followed 2 (or more) of those parties pulling 170-190 draws, he just spot checked a few players on that run to keep the line from backing up.

I thought he did a decent job of moving players through.

On that note, I hope we can get rid of the treasure wands at GenCon now that all tokens have the same backs?
