My wife and I bought all 10 tickets to this run, and we are looking for 4 more people to do Hardcore:
We still have 5 openings for this run in Hardcore. We are happy to have newbies.
Tell all your friends, get the word out we need more players for hardcore.
I'll be bringing extra tokens so that we can equip 4-5 players so that they at least have a token in every slot.

Carolyn, thanks for your interest. We (my wife and I) have nice builds for our characters and are looking to do Hardcore which is harder than the normal difficulty. Mainly we are wanting to do this for the character xp (which is greater if you do Hardcore or Nightmare mode [an extra 1000 xp just for trying]).
The thing with hardcore (and nightmare) difficulty is that everyone on the run must agree to that difficulty or it reverts to normal mode.

So you are more than welcome if you are OK with Hardcore mode, which in general makes all monster AC, to-hit, and saves about +4 more than normal and the hit points of the monster about 50-100% more than normal. Also, puzzle room failures do more damage to each character. For a completely new group this is extra tough. But we are hoping to get more people who want to do Hardcore mode.

If you are still interested, we do have items/tokens that we can lend you to make it more probable that you will make it to through all 7 rooms. Also, Liz has been working on getting her healing as Druid up to a good level so that we can help everyone make it through.

I'd be interested. I'm best equipped as the second wizard spot, but I can cobble together other classes (bard is probably next best) too.

Hi there. I'd be up for joining you guys. I am set up for a pretty good fighter, paladin or barbarian.

Let me apologize for not updating this topic in the last few weeks and for not having replied to all the people who have sent me a PM. A lot of real life stuff came up, but I'm now working on replying to everyone.

As to meeting up and getting your tickets, Liz and/or I will be near the TD entrance (possibly with a small sign indicating the run) starting at 11:30 AM to hand out tickets. Also, I can mail tickets to anyone who has already paid.

We don't have a full group, which I suspect is mainly due to this being a puzzle run and most people who want to do Hardcore want to do the combat version to make the most of their set of tokens.
So let me say that since this is a puzzle run (which means that we have time to heal up in most rooms) and Liz has a lot of nice healing equipment, and we will bring healing potions and scrolls, and we already have several well equipped players, that I think that we can mostly carry people who haven't played before and only have a starter pack. We will bring a extra tokens to help equip starting people. You won't be super equipped, but will be reasonably equipped to survive.

Therefore, if anyone is on the fence about joining a Hardcore run, I promise we will try our best to keep you alive.
