Hawk Fingle and the Cads Against Humanity Adventuring League!

Looking at Normal difficulty.

Hey - our group is 7 other tickets for this time slot!

We typically do standard mode run, and are kitted out for rogue, bard, cleric, ranger, druid. Our bard is well-equipped, but a horrible singer, so I don't think anyone would object if you guys fought it out.

Oh, um, also, we're kind of loud and uncivilized, so I apologize in advance for your journey with what is pretty much the Cards Against Humanity adventuring party.

Meghan & crew - congrats on finding one of your fellow party members! I've worked with Hawk a couple times in the past, and he's a fantastic asset to any group.

I'm certain he won't be scared off by your CAH-style humour. In fact, you may have to keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't flirt with too many Drow priestesses in the dungeon, or run his mouth off against some aggressive boss monster.

And she wasn't a priestess when we met. That all happened much later. Heart breaking, really.

I'll edit the first post. While I am considered to be among the best bards in the land, if we are settling for Normal difficulty I could probably offer to switch over to another class. I've been assembling alt builds for Origins just in case, so I can either argue with your current bard for the right to play the class (do they have a Medallion of Nobility? Hmmm? Do they? ) or I can try something new. I'm not that confident in my sliding abilities right now, though that may change after Origins.

I'll edit the first post. You mentioned you have 7 tickets but only five classes. Do you happen to know the other two class preferences?

Well, you've definitely got a good group name for future runs, if this one goes well and you want to team up again!

Well the other Hawk is my husband, so you're gonna have to be "Chris Hemsworth" levels of handsome before I believe you.
I'll check in with the rest of the group. We have two 2nd year players - I'm not sure what classes they prefer.
I usually play rogue, as I'm pretty kick-ass at the puzzles and am pretty shifty in general.
Handsome Hawk is normally the cleric, Sheree a druid (with a cute druid belt!). Adam /Bob is our bard, but he guesses the runes wrong and sings Biz Markie. He said he could play a or fighter wizard, and we didn't interrupt to say "nah dude, you can bard".
I'll check with the other two to figure out the plan.

And no one in our group is 5th level, so you have the right to call first dibs on a class. I hope you don't mind running on normal instead of nightmare. It's not like I need to turn on easy mode and have everything handed to me, but at the same time, I like being alive to experience everything.

Normally it's my job to charm the NPCs and supply witty verbal attacks during combat!
Last year, I conned an attractive Drow warrior into helping us a little more than he had planned to. After inevitable betrayal and defeat, I yelled a parting shot as we left the room "Hey, thanks for helping us when you weren't a dick!"

Just curious, have you read the Kingkiller Chronicle books? I'm curious to see how much of the world/lore is going to be in TD.
I seriously read the (very excellent) books and highlighted passages, like it was gaming homework or something!

And now I feel weird because I just posted four (now five!) times in a row like some overly chatty girl at a school dance! Sorry, the effects of low sleep & over-caffeination are taking it's toll... (though honestly, I'll probably be in the same state for Gen Con).
