TOPIC: Missed GenCon, Game Hole Con exp for 2016?

Just wondering if those of us who had to miss GenCon this year might be able to run the 2 retro dungeons at GHC and get the yearly exp for those 2 instead of the 2 missed at GenCon?

There was no XP at WYC. So I doubt it

If that changes there might be a revolt among the folks who planned their years travel around the other two cons.

As much as I think it would be very cool for them to offer some XP for GHC, it really wouldn't be fair this year to people's plans or to those who attended WYC.

If they were to change direction on this, it should probably be something they announce around year end for the 2017 conventions. That way people can plan accordingly for the year.

It would specifically be a change from "2016 GenCon dungeon XP" to "2016 dungeon XP"

Make it so you get up to the Nightmare XP for up to 2 dungeons total per year between WYC, GC and GHC.
Would allow players to stay current even if they can't attend GenCon but can attend the other conventions.

Where as the other one would be the "same" dungeon to make up for the one I missed in the past. I was not able to go to GenCon in the past but would have loved to. If I could do the dungeons that were from the past, that would be like me being there.

I am missing quite a few years.

This has been the main fight against EXP for non gencon runs.

Even if they start it next year.

There are a number of people at WYC who can not attend GC but plan to hit GHC and were upset they can't gain experience even tho they attend 2 of the 3 TD conventions.

I thought, maybe wrongly, retro dungeons do not give xp. If there are ever new dungeons at other cons then maybe (big maybe) they will.
