Cancer Sucks.
Kim (Kithren on the forums) volunteers with ACS-CAN - the Cancer Advocacy Network for the American Cancer Society - to lobby for more funding, more research, and better legislation in the fight against Cancer.

You can fight cancer too, by bidding on (and hopefully winning!) tokens in this fundraising auction!
100% of the funds will go to ACS-CAN

This was supposed to go up a couple days ago, but I've been waiting on Kim to give me a list of a few more tokens being donated to the auction. She's out of town at the moment, tho... so rather than wait any longer, the auction is going live, and I'll add the remaining tokens once I get the list.

I bid $5 on the sapphire ring I “borrowed” from St Lorkas Shrine.

Okaaaaaay - I know nothing about "borrowing" any Sapphire Rings from the St Lorkas Shrine. If I knew we were allowed to "borrow" Rings, there'd be at least one fewer sapphire ring there! (but I won't take any props from the dungeon, because that would be unfair to any players who come after. Plus Jeff would definitely have a prime suspect if Sapphires went missing in the dungeon ).

Um., what I meant to say is... Should I add this item to the Auction?

And am I allowed to bid on Kim's auction, myself??

Raven, I have the high bid on the ring, and am totally OK if you bid on it. 😀

Okay, we have confirmed there's also a prop ring from RingCon in this auction (Thank you very much John, and whomever in the Thieves' Guild assisted in liberating that ring!) I've added it to the official offerings.

Kim is back home from her adventures, and we've had a couple more donations to the auction, so keep your eyes open for a few new offerings popping up soon!
