Is everyone ready for the 5th annual Flik's Super Sweet Augmented Auction Bonanza!!! I want to state right off the bat that I will be keeping the four Rings of the 1st Circle, three Mark of the 1st Tenets, and the Golden Ticket. I will be auctioning 9 of the possible 10 random URs as well. I've added appropriate augmented items to hopefully make up for that and the fact the auction goal is $8000. I might have to add more augments or lower the funding amount but I will see how it shakes out after the appropriate time. This year I have decided to run an Onyx Augmented auction for the first time.
Auction rules:
This is a super-condensed onyx auction augmented by some tokens from my collection. As the auction progresses, If it looks like we are not meeting the goal, I may continue to add things. The goal here is to get this funded. Ideally, this results in very good deals on the things I have added, as well as the auction items. Last year I had many augmented URs for $30 or less, far lower than market value.
In order for the auction to be successful, the grand total of all bids above the minimums must meet or exceed that $8,000. If the auction fails to meet the minimum by the end date, the auction will end with no winners. Bid high, bid often!
Bidding is eBay style:
◦ Bids are sent to me through Private Messages in these forums or "Flik" on the unofficial TD Discord.
◦ You must bid at least the current bid + the bid increment.
◦ Bid increment on items currently at less than $10 is $0.25.
◦ Bid increment on items currently at greater than or equal to $10 and less than $20 is $0.50.
◦ Bid increment on items currently at greater than or equal to $20 and less than $50 is $1.
◦ Bid increment on items currently at greater than or equal to $50 is $5.
* Also, bids must be in a multiple of the bid increment of your maximum bid. So if the bid is currently at $49, New bids of $50 or $55 are acceptable, but a bid of $51 is not.
◦ The winning bid amount is the lesser of the (2nd highest bid + the bid increment) and the highest bid.
◦ In the event that multiple bidders all bid the same highest amount, the earliest bid will be the high bidder.
This auction style rewards early bidding, as you win ties and people must raise the bid by at least the bid increment to take it from you. Since the price is set by the 2nd highest bidder, you may enter your top bid initially and never overpay.
Bidding ends on October 31st, 2025 at 9pm EST OR 9pm EST the day after funding has been achieved -- whichever occurs first. I chose this date based on this being the end of the preorder bonuses (even if there isn't a proper preorder this year). I hold discretion to see if the auction needs to get extended past this and I'll add more augmented items in order to compensate for the loss of preorder items.
The goal is to get funded not worry about an end date (aside from board technical difficulties). If the end date needs to be changed because the auction has less interest I will make sure to provide notice. But there would be at least a week heads-up notice.
Any last-minute changes in high bidders will not extend the auction.
Payment is required through PayPal via Friends and Family. All winning bids will have 48 hours after close of the auction to provide payment. Any unpaid item(s) after allotted time will defer their winning bid and the next highest bidder will be offered the item at their maximum bid price of the item(s).
Shipping within the US on all winning bids is $5 for 1 to 10 tokens (First Class bubble mailer), $11.70 for 11 to 150 tokens (Priority, small flat rate box), $21.05 for over 150 tokens (Priority, medium flat rate box) to destinations in the US. International shipping is at the actual cost of shipping. Shipping will occur within 1 week of receiving the tokens from True Dungeon, though probably much sooner than that. If you win gold, please indicate what denominations you want (i.e. which bars) when you give payment so I can request the specific bars in the order!
